McInnes and his assistant where sitting behind me last night.

They where having a wee chuckle and high 5 when Sinclair was down injured.

Hope we do them good and proper. Stick the knife into them (and the ref) by scoring first. Pref more than one before half time. :rocker:

Edited for being done up like a kipper :ph43r:

SINCY FINAL FEARS Celtic are facing a Betfred Cup final sweat over Scott Sinclair

BY ROBERT GRIEVE 23rd November 2016, 12:01 am

CELTIC are facing a Betfred Cup final sweat over Scott Sinclair.

The Hoops winger limped out of last night’s defeat to Barcelona at half-time with a sore hamstring.

He will have a scan today — and is praying he is given the all-clear to face Aberdeen in Sunday’s Hampden showpiece.

Hoops boss Brendan Rodgers said: “We’ll see how he is. He’s very robust so when he had to come off he was hurting.

“He got caught when breaking through.

“We didn’t want to take any risk with him. He was in pain.”

Thought he was poor at times last night in finding an angle for receiving a pass, but when he was on the ball was looked dangerous when we could get the ball to him.

There was times Izzy had no option on the left as he'd moved central and was standing behind a defender. Still thought he looked most likely to create something in the first half.

Don't believe it to be a hamstring or ankle knock.

It was clearly mental weakness.

Would be a huge blow if he is missing. He is one of the players we have who are a real class above the typical Scottish Premier League player.

I think that applies to Roberts as well so I wouldn't say it's a huge blow. Just disappointing as he's one of our more exciting players. We'll win every (domestic) game he misses.

Sucks that our left hand side has now been effed with injuries though.

SCOTT SINCLAIR will MISS the League Cup final on Sunday after being ruled out for a month.

But Leigh Griffiths will hand Celtic a boost by returning to training today.

Winger Sinclair will miss the clash with Aberdeen at Hampden and Celtic’s festive fixtures.

He strained his hamstring in the first half against Barcelona and was taken off at half-time on Wednesday night.

Hoops boss Brendan Rodgers said afterwards he’d substituted Sinclair purely as a precaution.

But the winger, who was replaced by James Forrest, is facing weeks out.

Striker Griffiths injured his hamstring playing for Scotland against England at Wembley a fortnight ago.

The Hoops hitman missed last Friday’s victory over Kilmarnock at Rugby Park and then Wednesday’s Champions League clash with the Catalan giants.
