Think of poor wee Mizpah, he'd have been chomping at the bit to get on this thread after Sinclairs miss at 2-0.

Clearly not chomping the bit as hard as you were.

We'll see over the course of the season. For a player at the age of 27 with the experience he has at some of the worlds top clubs he should be burying the Ross County chance without breaking sweat, and should be stamping his authority all over big games when we're under pressure. He hasn't. He has done very well this season but is still lacking the presence you'd expect of a player of his ability and price tag. Last night's miss is the kind of thing Griffiths is routinely slaughtered for because he's a cheaper and easier target. Still, Sinky kept the fanboys happy with his goal from 2 yards out and will no doubt go on to break all sorts of pre-war scoring records this season. ICGAF because I'm looking for a bit more.

If we are presented with a similar chance on Tuesday I'd want Dembele on the end of it. 19 years old and still rough around the edges, but no doubting he has the mentality of a top class player.
Maybe supporting Celtic isn't for you

I think now, he escapes praise from me on here, because I expect so much of him.

What a player, you can just tell the difference in the team since he came in. I know there is other additions adding to the quality we are seeing, but honestly up there he is just quality on the ball.

Those little shifts before shooting, hes either bang on or never far off. Best signing in years and money well spent.

Ill add a little, we spent big on him for a club in our league, but its worth every penny. If we can get quality from that market everytime we spent 4m odd, we will be a CL last 8 team after a year or 2. The guy just ozzes class and the other players around him, Tierney, Dembele, Rogic add to his game.

Incredibly unlucky to hit the post, because the curl on that ball was absolutely tremendous. Love watching him play.

Edit "Sinky made the fanboys happy"?

Whit?!?

Utter nonsense.

He was brilliant last night.

That goal from 2 yards out was a fantastic volley.

Your mentally weak jibe is complete garbage.

He was excellent last night. His link up play with Dembele and his movement in behind is a joy to watch at times.

Build the team around guys like him. Put better players in with him. Ones who are better passers and get the ball forward much quicker and he will get so much better.

Another opinion utterly divorced from reality.

He was by a distance our most expensive signing in the summer, and we have not yet seen a return in line with the price tag.

Dembele has been the key figure in our season. Take Dembele out of the equation and Sinclair, and his transfer fee, would be under far greater scrutiny.

Sinclair is a clever and extremely talented player who will continue to fire goals in at will against all sorts of opposition when it suits him, but is not ever going to be someone we can count on when we're under pressure. One on ones, penalties in big games, corners in big games. He's mentally weak  take it to the bank.
