What a signing he's been. I was leaving work when the news broke that he was at Ross Hall having his medical. Texted my Rangers supporting mate.

"Sinclair having a medical."

"FFS."

He's quality and there was no doubt he was going to be a hit up here.

Think of poor wee Mizpah, he'd have been chomping at the bit to get on this thread after Sinclairs miss at 2-0.

Makes such a difference to how we play.

Fast ,talented links up well and scores - a lot - hope he is here for the long term.

I read an Aston Villa fans forum when we signed him and they had him pegged as a real dud and a wage thief.

Some of the animosity towards him was comparable to ours with DERK!!!!

Just needed to be appreciated by the support and understood by a class manager.

Clearly not chomping the bit as hard as you were.

We'll see over the course of the season. For a player at the age of 27 with the experience he has at some of the worlds top clubs he should be burying the Ross County chance without breaking sweat, and should be stamping his authority all over big games when we're under pressure. He hasn't. He has done very well this season but is still lacking the presence you'd expect of a player of his ability and price tag. Last night's miss is the kind of thing Griffiths is routinely slaughtered for because he's a cheaper and easier target. Still, Sinky kept the fanboys happy with his goal from 2 yards out and will no doubt go on to break all sorts of pre-war scoring records this season. ICGAF because I'm looking for a bit more.

If we are presented with a similar chance on Tuesday I'd want Dembele on the end of it. 19 years old and still rough around the edges, but no doubting he has the mentality of a top class player.

Brilliant player. He's just so much better than anything we've had in the last 4 or 5 years.

Got a feeling we'll keep him for a few years as he seems to be enjoying his football and playing for us. Top class

Minor criticism is that I think he gives the ball away too easily with his back to goal at times, but what a signing he's been.

So unlucky not to score in the first half and I thought he was really excellent in the second half tonight. Puts in a real shift and I think him and Izzy will form a good partnership over the next few months.

He cost 3.5 million quid.

He's a great player to have around. Wingers will always go through poor runs of form.

I feel guilty for misjudging him as a money hungry, fame seeking carrot.

WTF have you got against him? He's been up there with Dembele for player of the year.

I thought he was outstanding tonight. Always an out ball, his movement is phenomenal. Creates so much space.

The only nitpick with Sinclair is while he gets into fantastic positions with his movement, too often he loses the ball just as he's about to break into the box.

Otherwise, he's just an excellent player. Compare his impact to Derk Boerrigter's :loel:

He gives us an out ball and his ability to create space for himself and his team mates is something we could with more of. He was so unlucky not to score tonight.

The cheek of Aston Villa fans to slag any player. Up them.
