He is a mentally weak player.
Have you something to substaciate that or did you just throw that comment into the thread only because you thought it would provoke a reaction?

It was most obvious in the 5-1 game. Before we took the lead he was dancing around filling his pants. Fine once we were ahead.

I'd be delighted to be proved wrong, when he stands up and contributes when we're seriously under pressure in a big game.
Pretty much the first thing he did in a Celtic Jersey was score a vital winner at Tynecastle :ponder:
Already made that point on wed. Apparently anything he has done well has been down to: good pace, link up play, finishing etc.

Anything he has done wrong is cos he is mentally weak. Although we have eff all evidence to prove this.

Just had a crap day like all of his team mates. I still think he is a great player for us.

Yes he was certainly not the only poor performer last night.

He has and will be excellent in Scotland but that coloured a lot of peoples judgement of how good he actually is. This was a timely realty check. Since moving to Man city over 4 years ago he scored a grand total of 3 league goals. He has scored 7 times already up here. He is a superb SPL player but he is no world beater. Hopefully he can be consistently decent when he steps up a level but I dont expect much more than that.

That is not an insult BTW. That is where we are as a team. Being consistently decent would be an improvement and heading in the right direction.

You mean the game when he set up the first goal and scored the crucial third? That game?

Or the game when he scored the winner at Tynecastle?

He doesn't have to prove you wrong. You are talking utter pish.

It is easy pish to come away with cos it is almost impossible to prove one way or another without actually knowing the player personally or having worked with him.

Having never seen any quotes from his managers or teammates regarding his mental weakness I am happy to trust Rodgers judgement here before some random on the internet. I don't believe for a minute that Rodgers made a mentally weak player his number one priority signing and then spent a couple of months chasing him until we got him. Then again, yer man also thinks Rodgers is mentally weak as well. Funny enough he had never warned all of us about this until Wed night when a far superior side beat us fair and square.

Some absolute bullshampoo being spouted in this thread on the back of one poor team performance.

I have a feeling he will be on the edge of his seat today hoping Sinclair has a poor performance. Then he will come on here and say Sinclair is mentally weak.
