A genuine class act. No wonder Brendan Rodgers was surprised we got him. He glides through games and always carries a threat. Works his bollox off too. Hope he "gets" us, because he could be a star for years .

Watching the game live and then hearing glowing opinions of friends afterwards, I didn't see what the fuss was about; I thought he was poor. On re-watching the full match, his running created so many openings for us, and restricted the attacking intentions of the Manchester City defenders, and by that token, the whole away team's approach when in possession. Fascinating player to watch off the ball.

 Well said. I think Scott Sinclairs off the ball work is one of the reasons why KT is creating so many chances and assisting in so many goals. I think it's that football intellegence that BR wants from his players and is a large part in why BR has signed Scott Siinclair so many times.

His movement created the chance for Tierney at our second goal. He took the City Cb's right out the equation.

Our best player.

I thought the same. There was one in the first half he should have left for Forrest who had a better shot at goal and he just took it away from him.

He has been great though and is a very clever player.

I'm convinced that Rodgers persevered with getting Sinclair signed was precisely because his movement off the ball is exceptional. When, in the first instance Tierney, then the midfield and then the full front line of Dembele, Griffiths, Forrest and Roberts, understand Sinclair's intelligence off-the-ball, it will be really exciting.

So he had a game where he didn't score - his value to the team long term could be extraordinary.

Scott, 27, who has daughter Matilda, one, with Helen, rakes in a whopping £60,000 a week as a striker for Scottish football club Celtic.

The Scottish top flight may not be considered the pinnacle by players in the English Premier League, but the performance related bonuses Scott gets are thought to take his his weekly salary to near £80,000.
