His off the ball movement is Immense

He drags players out of position, his pace intimidates the life out of defenders
He was popping up everywhere.

comes deep , goes in behind , Switches flanks (noticeable in the griffths header.). defenders didn't know how to mark him .

He had a good game, very fast and willing to run anywhere. A constant threat, should really have had at least 1 goal though, probably 2.

There was a moment in the first half when 4 defenders were on him and he still picked out a Celtic player. Not his best game, but you can see he's going to be a constant threat against almost every team we will face this season.

I wasn't sure when we signed, bu delighted with what I've seen so far. It's the smart movement and intelligent runs, his pace and ability to go down the inside & outside. He's looking like a very good signing.

Clearly not 100% fit yet. But even then the pace is such an asset, was unlucky not to get our 6th. Cracking player.

Quiet game last night but still showed the odd flash off brilliance.

His movement dragged there RB all over the shop.

Slightly surprised by suggestion he wasn't up to it last night. I thought he worked well with KT down the line.

I for one think it's quite nice that we have a player who wasn't at his absolute best and was still involved in 3 out of 5 goals.

Nothing really came off for him, he put in a real shift though and had a big say in 3 out of the 5 goals so pretty decent showing. Criminal not to pass to Griffiths at the end though.

I think the arse fell out of of him last night.

Packed CP, wired to the moon, I can understand it. It'll only be today he realizes who the eff he has signed for.

Welcome to one of the big clubs son.

A bit of that possibly - The hit on him at the first goal seemed to take it out of him - He never stops running off the ball and thus is dragging players all over the shop with him - As you know you can play well and put in a shift without always being on the ball.

If you read the reports of Dukla away in the semi final of the Big Cup Stevie Chalmers played upfront on his own and was hardly on the ball but the journalists (in the real sense of the word) and Jock himself said Stevie was undoubtedly the MOTM.

His 2 runs off the ball created the first and second goals, they didn't have a clue what to do with then runs into the middle

The chance at the end, the pace he showed there was unreal considering how late in the game it was

Top class 1st half but seemed to go off the boil for for first 30 mins of 2nd half. Opposition full backs must be having nightmares about having to face him and Roberts together.

Fair play to his challenge with their goalie. I can think of a few shirt fillers who would've chickened out of that.

Thought the same. Which is bizarre because as much as he didn't score or have a direct assist (Rogic one count?) he was still involved in 3 of the 5.

Missed a sitter first half and should've squared it for Griffiths at the end but otherwise it shows what difference having wide players who shut the opposition down so well can make. Also when did Griffiths start being able to leap as well as he did last night? Laddie looked like he had Acme spring heeled boots on! Great to see the rapport with the manager as well.

With his pace, movement and unpredictability he is the sort of player who gives defenders fits even if things aren't quite working for him. Sometimes he swaps position with Griffiths and that really causes defensive chaos.

Will be very dangerous for us in Europe, and should rip the league apart.

I had him just behind Toure in my MOTM vote. After reading some comments today in the post match thread about how he had an "off game", I paid particular attention to him when I watched the game again tonight. Did the Bacardi influence my vote last night :suspect:

I'm even more convinced now how much of an influence he had on the game. I can't think of any player I've seen who's runs pull a defence apart like that. His work rate is incredible. Not the flashy dribbling skills he showed against the fat free huns, but what a shift he put in. Can't wait to see him and Roberto start. We now look like a dynamic team again, rather than the anaemic team we were under RD.

I voted Toure MOTM because he plugged gaps, and kept us solid at the back. What we'll need going forward. A world away from watching Efe. Him (Kolo) and Eric will be a formidable combo.

I just pray that our key players stay fit, because with with our best team out and a good manager, we will make progress this year.
