I thought his touch was off tonight and things just weren't come for him - however he did have a hand in a few goals. A player who can contribute even on a bad night is a good player.

He was decent but could have done better overall. Missed two sitters including one at the end that could have given us a four goal cushion.
The keeper saved it
He should have squared it to Griffiths. That said, he made the chance himself with a great turn of pace and show of strength.

Looked tired second half, maybe still behind on fitness.

Weird game for him. Heavily involved in a few goals, but I didn't think he was too good overall tonight. Seemed to want more time than necessary and take more touches of the ball.

I think he was trying a wee bit too hard. Still had a decent game but seemed too eager for things to click.

First time I've seen him in the flesh. He's very quick.

PL player or not I bet he's never experienced anything like that. He'll have learnt a lot and will be a valuable player in the next leg

He missed two good chances, but never hid and was constantly looking for the ball. He had their defence terrorised in the first half with his runs off the wing and into the middle. These runs led directly to our first two goals. If Sinclair had his shooting boots on tonight we would be singing his praises.

Decent showing. Good with the ball, excellent movement off it. So effective in creating space for other. Looked a little tired in the second half.

Didn't think he played that badly? Engineered the first goal and was unlucky with his strong run and shot

I think the clash with the keeper took it out him and also maybe the biggest game of his career so a wee bit overwhelmed

Faded in the second half, but we have a player alright.

He was involved in 3 goals and he missed two great chances. Overall his contribution was telling.

Just before the Dawn

Didn't know what hit him for twenty minutes. He seemed genuinely spooked by the noise and intensity. Guess Villa ain't that big after all. Took a real whack at the first goal, and seemed to struggle a bit thereafter. Missed two absolut sitters too, but I get the feeling next Tuesday will see the best of him.

He drags players out of position, his pace intimidates the life out of defenders

Said to my dad watching it he does not half run about a pitch - he was everywhere tonight. Making runs, tracking back, and at the end had the engine to go for goal and was unlucky or maybe should have squared to Griff. Not his best game but the wee man is a grafter on the pitch. Could watch him all day.

Not a lot came off for him tonight but still had a major impact on the game. Just being on the pitch drags 2/3 players to cover him. Has he ever played in a match like that? I think it definitely unsettled him, but he still oozes quality.
