Looked absolutely delighted during the celebrations. Loves it here.
So what
Its been decided he's a shampooebag and coward
Are you under the impression that being a bit of a shampoobag during the match and enjoying his time here are mutually exclusive?
How dare he enjoy himself when kds has confirmed that he is both a coward and shampooebag

Struggled to handle the amount of games and lack of rest/short pre season. Just the way it is playing for Celtic.
lots of others managed playing all these games

A lot of games has affected us but people will go to incredible lengths to excuse his awful Performances ( not necessarily having a go at you maestro - just the general tone over he year )

He didn’t get enough rest, his wife is expecting and so on

He’s clearly an inconsistent player - a really poor second half of the season especially - still think Roberts should have came on on Sunday instead

If I had a job where I could under perform for at least half of the year, while everyone makes excuses for my shampootiness, and I make more than most of my colleagues, I’d be pretty happy too.

Next seasons gotta be a big one but just don’t know if he can turn it back around now that most teams seem to have him sussed

We shouldn't be so quick to get rid of Sinclair.

He is our top goalscorer with 18 goals despite having a poor season.

He also has 15 assists.

He will kick on again next year.

This. No harm to the guy but I don't know why we persist with him. He's been a waste of a jersey for half a season, and a waste of a sub.

Sinclair career is littered with examples of a good season followed by a poor/inconsistent spell. I'd be happy to give him another year given he is still our top scorer in what has been a struggle of a season.

He isn't anywhere near his best but I disagree that he has been a waste of a jersey for six months.

Since the turn of the year he has started ten games and came off the bench 7 times.

In that period he has scored 3 goals and assisted 5.

Admittedly it could be much better.

Also I would argue that it's a myth that we have persisted with Sinclair despite lack of form.

The only game he started this year that could be consider a crunch match was v Aberdeen away.

He has been left out v Rangers three times (one match he didnt even play). He didn't start v Zenit at home or away (he didn't come on in the home game).

He has to force himself back into our starting line up. He will once he regains his form and confidence.

His performances at the beginning of the season went a long way to us qualifying for the CL.

Big goal in Astana, sealed the win in Belgium. 18 goals and 15 assists.

He's not been great, but still made a big contribution this season.

He will kick on based on what?

He has been honking since the start of October.

I know you live abroad and can't attend matches but if you had seen him in the flesh a few times this season I think your opinion would be different.

I hope the summer break allows him to reset, as it were. If he's on form he's one of our best players, if not our best.

I'm hoping the entire squad recognise the slog that was this season - that sounds like i'm not appreciative of what they've achieved when I really am, but even Broony, McGregor and Rodgers have all alluded to the lack of excitement in our play.

Next season i'd like us to be much more attacking and ruthless. I'm hoping BR has the bit between his teeth and will go all out to ensure Gerrard doesn't come close to him.

Top goal scorer last two seasons and potential to be double treble winner on Saturday hope all our signings are as bad as Scotty.

This.

I called the shampoobag stuff early but have always said he’s a top player on form, and this gives him benefit of the doubt.
Hopefully he recharges and goes for it next season again.

I was at the POTY dinner last season when he won. He stated he loved it here and had found a home. I believe that, just needs to get his form back.

I thought his form would pick up when big Tom and Moussa came back and started firing again but he`s rarely started with them and his confidence is low, close season will hopefully do him some good.

There`s a shampooload of disproportionate anger towards him at times that`s hard to fathom. He`s not the only player ever to have a sub par second season and there`s plenty more in the squad never reached the heights of last season but don`t receive the same ire.
