He’s actually starting to annoy me.

That wee slow shuffle that he does when he collects the ball. Just drive at them Scotty!

First team training

I've been firmly in the "it's a lack of confidence/if he gets a goal he'll be fine/it'll pick up etc. etc." camp but he's got to go. For the money he's taking home every week he needs to do better. He has been extremely poor since New Year. Isn't consistently taking his marker on and beating him, isn't consistently playing good balls into the box, hasn't been consistently scoring or assisting since New Year. He is consistently losing the ball, he is consistently taking too many touches and too much time on the ball allowing his marker(s) to close him down.

For the outlay we need better.

Unfortunately the fact he has been playing recently makes me think he is part of Rodgers plans for next season.

Have absolutely zero confidence in him doing anything useful when on the ball, that Brendan keeps playing him makes me question his knowledge in picking wide players

Whatever he has brought fo the table has faded alarmingly. It's all very well shouting for him to be punted but the list of suitors will be woefully short on this form.

As I posted on the match thread - Sinclair absolutely typifies the chasm in performance between this season and last. He has the heart of a mouse. Would be happy to get our money back and spend the wage elsewhere - he is absolutely rank rotten and has been for some time.

Genuine question- has he ever came on as a sub when we were losing or drawing and we have gone on to win ( debut aside)

It’s a total myth he has one good season and then falls off a cliff at every club. His best and basically only two really good seasons before coming here were back to back at Swansea with Rodgers.

Been really disappointed with him for large parts of this season, particularly the latter half.

I'm a lot more disappointed at some of the comments on here from folk who seem to revel in his poor form and not see him pick up his form but eff off.

He has been marvellous for us. Just now, he's not playing well enough. Our squad is filled with people who have been written off in the past.

If he does turn it round I hope there are a few people who don't have the temerity to enjoy it

Part of his problem and the team in general of late is that we get too few chances to properly counter attack. Teams have sussed that they can stifle us by having two solid banks of four sitting narrow and deep. Last year we were able to counter either by quick turnovers of possession due to our determined pressing, and by counter attacking at opposition corner kicks. This hasn't been as evident this season and Scott Sinclair has suffered more than most as a result.

He's a good player but his head is gone.

Of the attacking options we have, our left hand side is the most appealing for opponents to shut down because of Tierney. Likewise, our counter attacking game is largely non existent.

There is a good player in there, our manager and Sinclair need to work out how to reinvent him to get some results or else we're looking at the same pattern as every other time his head has gone down at a club.

We get plenty of chances to counter attack. We are just to slow and deliberate to do it.

Agreed. lack of urgency and creativity on the counter is what brings us back down to the level of other teams in the league. with our resources we should have the players to do much better on the break.
