I'm heartened that some folk think we can get a wedge for him.

I would be happy to see him go for nowt just to get him out of KTs road,
Who in their right mind would buy him given his form this year?
Bournemouth according to someone on here.

He's been shampooe for months and should have been punted in January.
Excellent strategy.

From now on, every January, sell our top scorer.

That is not what I said and you know it.
Why can't you just accept that he isn't very good and not up to the required standard?
You said he should have been punted in January. Given that he was our top scorer at the time, that would have been mental.

Given that he hasn't scored since January it would have been a brilliant move.

I hope that he can find his confidence back again - I think it's mainly that. For whatever reason, that hopefully BR can work out, it seems to me he's just lacking in that bit of confidence that he had before.

I wouldn't write him off just yet - but I hope that he can pick up a bit and get that confidence back. If he can't then it'll be time to move on.

Not really. He’s had a couple of poor months after being our best player since he signed. You could argue that every single player, with the possible exceptions of Brown and Forrest have been poorer than they were last year either due to injury or loss of form. Supporting players who are having a rough time is part of the deal. Throwing the toys out the pram at the first sign of loss of form is pathetic, to be honest.

Sinclair is paid a lot of money to play for Celtic. His performances this season haven’t justified it.

I hope he refinds his form, as he was brilliant for us in his first season, but if he continues this season’s form for much longer we should definitely be considering our options. On our budget, Celtic can’t afford to be sentimental. We’ve been able to carry passengers this year but it won’t always be the case.

Couple of months? Get to buggery he’s been mince since November and a perennial underperformer in the CL group stages. Chico didn’t get this protection after his POTY season. Sinclair is on 40k and that just isn’t right when you consider the shots he pulled out of at new year and the non-attempt at chasing a ball that never even went out of play on Sunday.

He has scored 17 goals.

He hasn't been anywhere near his best yet he is still our joint top scorer.

I think he deserves at least another season to see how he gets on.

Let's not forget this season is not over as well.

He scored 6 goals and won 3? penalties during November till January.

Either way, he's happy at Celtic and no way will BR want to sell him. How much would we realistically get and who do you replace him with? Absolutely no need to sell a player who's had a hand in around 40 goals this season despite not playing well.

It would be very easy to replace him if we offered someone 40k. You have to be harsh when he is sucking £1m every six months out the club.
