On a personal level I understand why Brendan brought on Sinclair yesterday, but on a footballing level I think it would as the wrong decision. He barely contributed anything. If Paddy had come on, running at that defence, I think we’d have been looking at 6 or 7 nil. |

Agreed, he look like the weight had been lifted from him and was more prepared to go at defenders. |

He did fall over twice very easily though when running at them - neither of which were a foul Hate to say it but he pulled out of - or rather chose not to contest a 50/50 yesterday on the touch line that he could have easily went for - was picked up on by a few around me too I really hope - genuiely hope this season is one we can write off as ‘that one poor one’ Edited by brian mclair's hair, 30 Apr 2018, 05:22 PM.

I’m pretty sure he just thought it went out. I remember thinking that from where he was it would have looked like the ball was going well out. |

As said, Paddy would have caused a riot and we'd have won about 7-0. Sinclair just fell on his arse. |

The introduction of Sinclair was the only negative of last Sunday. No more threat from the left. He looks terrified out there now. |

I don't think it's too big an ask to watch the trajectory of the ball until you know for certain if it's in play or not. Had he paid attention, which he should have, he'd have been one on one with the last defender and potentially scoring a confidence boosting goal. |

He didn't really just fall on his arse. People have their mind made up about Sinclair and see what they want to see. If he signs a new deal, a couple of bad games from Rogic and people will be saying he hasn't done anything since landing his big shiny contract. Paddy is being kept out of the team by James Forrest. I like Paddy, I'd have liked to have seen him getting a run, but Forrest had a very good game. So unless you're bringing Paddy on for Lustig, it wasn't going to happen on Sunday. |

I think Paddy might have come on had Lustig not been injured. Taking Forrest off with 15 mins to go would have given him a well deserved individual round of applause and would have given Paddy a last hurrah (possibly) against them. As it was, Lustig was injured and Forrest remained on as his defensive tracking will have helped Hendry. Edited by Luca, 3 May 2018, 10:49 AM.

Saw Scott and Lustig doing upper body yesterday at training, for a slight lad his upper body strength is unreal, kicked Lustig's arse on bars. Top athlete but his head may be in turmoil, family member on holiday here in Tenerife thinks off to Bournemouth.

Without that report we wouldn't know he had any upper-body strength. He is knocked over so easily, he looks proper lightweight. Off to Bournemouth? Wouldn't bother me. |

Considering the money floating about the English Leagues, I'd say that was the starting figure. If we don't sell him then fine, but if we can get him away for at least that and use his wages to either keep someone or get someone in we should do that. Edited by Flinchy, 3 May 2018, 12:59 PM.

He's obviously not hit the heights this year but for a player in his position 42 goals in a few games short of two seasons isn't half bad. There's barely a player in that team, probably Tierney aside, that people haven't said gtf, cash-in, punt, won't make it, past it, money could be better spent elsewhere. Players have dips in form, not least wide men. He's a a good player and needs a good manager who will know how to get him back on top. We have just the guy. |

I haven't 'just made up my mind' I defended him for long periods this season but for the past few months - since just before Xmas - he has been mostly terrible. Twice on Sunday he went down easily looking for free-kicks that weren't fouls. Then when they weren't given he went into his shell again. I don't understand it. Wouldn’t think about selling him until we know we can improve. Not an easy task. How would everyone feel about McClean? Potential to get him on the cheap if West Brom go down. Think he’d run through brick walls for us like he does for Ireland. Wouldn’t lose his confidence as easily as Sinclair. Not sure who else we can get unless we go for the young foreign route. (Another young French guy to keep French connection going?)

I think he " goes over " because he is a smart player, doesnt always work of course. Saw what i saw.But no tears from me if he goes for a good fee we got a priceless year and a bit. |
