Clearly going through a really bad period but also think a lot of our struggles have to do with how predictable our setup is.
Get Roberts back in the team and I'd be willing to bet Sinclair gets back among the goals.

Worth every penny his first year, not worth very much this year. No sign of his form improving and if there is no improvement punt.

Looking at stats there, and he's almost pro-rata on a par with Samaras's last season.

Sinclair: Played 50, 17 goals, 17 assists (34/50 = 0.68 'dun suhun' ratio). Goal every 211 minutes
Samaras: Played 32, 11 goals, 12 assists (23/32 = 0.71 'dun suhun' ratio). Goal every 200 minutes.

Where are the majority of these assists from as the SPFL stats have him only on 5 assists for the season

Rodger's blind faith in him is doing neither any favours.
Rodgers doesn't have blind faith in him, if he did he'd start every week, like Boyata.

Brendan brings him on, like Saturday, in the hope that he can turn the game and also turn his confidence.

Against the huns, he brought him on when we were cruising, likely in the hope that he'd get a goal and in turn lift his confidence.

Yep, agreed. Don't get the blind faith comments tbh.

If you look at our games since the turn of the year, Sinclair has missed quite a few games.

January: 4 starts - 2 goals/2 assists

Feb: Started 3 games. Provided one assist. Not involved v Killie away nor Zenit at home.

Came off the bench in one game.

March:

4 games/started 2/1 off the bench/ 1 v the huns he wasn't involved

April:

Started two out of 4 games

Without pouring over each game I'd take guess and say Sinclair hasn't started 1 'big' game since the huns at the end of December.

Just the one game, m8 v the sheep away.

Other than that he’s not played in these big games.

The number of times he receives the ball with his back to the defender needs to change. I know he has great acceleration but players are on to that turn.

Did nothing when he came on but in fairness the whole team had downed tools by then. Both Celtic and Sinclair will be better when he gets his form back.

Dived after hitting it past tavernier at the byline. Disappointing from the wage thief. Its nice sinking over a grand a year into this club and this charlatan is our highest earner. get him to eff.

When the ball was still in play and he didn't even track it :ffs:

Summed up his season.

Get the confidence back over summer, Scott. Then hunt some orcs :)

He needs a new hairdo, the skunk look isnae working.

He is taking too long to decide what to do when he gets the ball and that is down to a total loss of confidence.

unfortunately i work with a lot of Villa fans and they assure me he is following the same trajectory he did with them . Brilliant to start with then not so good , thats why they were glad to get rid of him. Hopefully Brendan can get to the bottom of it and he will return to his best.

He's been following that "trajectory" with nearly every club he's been with.
