Sinclair has been off the boil for most of the season. I really think he needs to spend some time on the bench over the next few weeks.

Quoting limited to 3 levels deep
He’s doubled up on because he kills the ball with his first touch and then tries to tip toe his way around the periphery of the penalty box. A better player would use his first touch to best his man or take him down the line. Sinclair uses his to attract a second defender.
I disagree. As soon as the ball is on it's way to, Sinclair 2 or 3 defenders are getting in position to stop him.

Btw not saying he shouldn't move the ball quicker.
You’re wrong. AMG’s assessment is spot on.

We can stop the ‘there’s always 2 men on him’ pish now. That’s only because he slows down, makes no attempt to beat the full back and allows defensive cover to arrive.

Utterly abject today.
That isn't exactly true. As soon as he gets the ball he is doubled up on.

Had a few decent runs today.

Think he will have a part to play on Thursday.

Absolutely spot on. It's so blatant I can't believe Rodgers hasn't asked him to address it.

Bang on.

His first touch is all about making the close to him - he needs to vary it - touch it into space to run into for example.

After all the criticism of McGregor before the first leg of the Zenit game, it looks like Sinclair's going to have the game of his life on Thursday :ph43r:

He shouldn't be starting based on what happened on Thursday and what he has been 'producing' of late.

 I'm not his biggest fan but to say he's not worthy of the squad is just madness. Thursday proved as much.

Don't think it's as deep as that mate. I reckon he's just an inconsistent player struggling for form.

He was the most senior player in the team today and he took no responsibility at all for making anything happen.
Apart from those ones he flashed across the face of goal for a tap in, you're right.
The one where KT played a great through ball to him? It was a decent ball across the face of goal but KT did the hard work with the through ball and actually made Sinclair make the run. I think it was the only time Sinclair went on the outside the whole game.

Sinclair should be showing much more hunger to get on the ball and much more bravery and variety when he’s got it (rather than cutting inside and playing the square ball every time).
