Sinclair is still a fantastic player. He was poor on Saturday but still produced a great run and cross along the box which should have resulted in a goal; others did far less of note.

Suffering from the exceedingly high standards he set last season. He’s still our best footballer.
Sort of true and untrue.

Standards of last year were always going to be incredibly hard to replicate.

The ball he played across the six yard line was poor, at best. Summed up his play at present.
How is that a poor ball?
Ned, I'm starting to believe that we are on virtually different planets when discussing Sinclair. Neither's fault, it just happens.

The ball he played across was to no one, no had a chance of getting onto it, therefore in my humble opinion, it was a poor ball.

Would he have played the same ball last season, I doubt it!

My opinion - Poor pass.

Your opinion - Not poor pass.

End of story!

He's also lucky you're in charitable mood for New Year. The fact he said he'd play himself before Sinclair should tell you everything you need to know. Player of the Year, now he's a dick etc.

I feel so lucky that Big Mick is in a charitable mood, I was actually bricking it for a while there :naught:

If you would like to discuss views then do, however, if you just wish to insult, please feel free to do so also.

I enjoy it when people like you act the PC hard man.

I feel so lucky today, meeting such lovely fellow supporters who embrace diversity of opinion and would never, ever join the bandwagon to belittle those who have various/differing viewpoints.

TBH, I'm enjoying this

It wasn’t a pass as such. He did extremely well and put in a dangerous cross which the keeper was never getting. It was begging for someone to attack it, much like decent corners do.

Last year he would have done more with it. That's the difference.

May I just add, I have nothing personal against Sinclair whatsoever, if t is coming across that way!

I just want him to be the player he was last year. I fear that we may not.

So rather than rest him or play him through a dip in form you would punt him and give his place to an untried kid?

In that position it is the winger's job to get the ball across the box through a space between the defenders running back and the keeper.

Once/if that is achieved it is the strikers job to get on the end of the feckin thing.

Simplistic maybe but that's pretty much it.

The Sinclair of last season would have anticipated Dembele being lazy and done better

Struggling Bob? Is that not a question you should have posed in your previous post - the one where you sought to 'rip me a new one' which failed miserably?

Sinclair is a passenger - what's your solution? Go on Big Man, let us all know how to solve the problem!

Oh, I know you're enjoying it, I can tell. Hopefully someone else will pay you the attention you so desperately crave in real life and we'll be spared much more of your nonsense. Takes me back to the days before social media and the first day of school holidays, there was a rush of similar winkery. Halcyon days.

All about opinions, as I've said.

There was no one there and no one who had a chance of getting anywhere near to the ball he played - is it wrong to believe he may have taken a different option when he was on fire last year?
