Sutton said he shat it.
Aye, Sutton's always right?
Some of the hysterical nonsense on this thread are unbelievable :ph43r:

Aye. Nearly as much tripe as saying you'd call a total stranger a shampooebag to his face because you're not a shampooebag.

The point about Vole is that some people get a free ride and achieve cult hero status despite having done nothing to earn it while other players get it in the neck for any indiscretion. Today it's Sinclair, not that long ago it was Forrest.

I can't remember anyone calling him a coward last year so either it's a new thing or its a bandwagon people are jumping on. But booing players during the game does nothing for them, especially confidence players. The huns said it was music to their ears and gave them a massive boost.

Nobody is saying players should be beyond criticism but the level of abuse was over the top and out of order.
I've always believed he was 'cowardly' at times. He's bottled too many chances and tackles for any rational mind to believe anything else - never been renouned for having a rational mind so maybe not a great argument on my behalf.

In relation to what any Hun says, ffs!

They tell us they're the same club :cuckoo:

I'm talking about their players on the pitch who said it gave them a lift, nothing to do with their fans.

It's a point about the reaction on Saturday, not a discussion about their eternal soul.

He's young and eager though, that's the main thing. Surprised we bother with experienced professionals at all really, what have they ever done for any football team?
Lustig is experienced, has been great but is finished - pains me to say so! He's underperforming on a regular basis - any ideas for a replacement as my ideas seem t cause a lot of hilarity  Just asking, anyone got any ideas who could replace him?
Replacement for who? Lustig? I agree he's done and needs replaced, I'm not a scout though so don't have a list of names. Sinclair isn't done, so doesn't need replaced.

Sinclair clearly pulled out of hitting that shot with conviction when he sensed a tackle coming in. It's absurd to deny it.

That doesn't mean he's a "coward". It just means he's the sort of player who is going to pull out of challenges rather than a Jimmy Johnstone who had no fear of physical challenges.

Increasingly I think the Sinclair we've seen this season may be the guy we're going to have in our team. Capable of brilliance, capable of shockers. I guess that's why he's playing in the SPL at his age. Still one of our best on his day. Talk of selling him is madness.

He needs replaced as a first team regular, he is a passenger at present. Why on earth persevere with a guy who's confidence is shot and regularly misses gilt edged chances to win games? Apologies Bobby, I just can't understand your reasoning. Maybe a fault on my behalf but it's, quite simply, how I feel.

This is a discussion board, full of opinions - some good, some bad. At the end of the day it's fun an not meant to be too serious.

Life's too short to get wound up about anything trivial. I've enough to worry about in the real world.

Ach Ned, I take any chance I can get to bring up the fact they're dead.

Not too sure it gave them a boost when he went off though. he was rank rotten, on the day.

I know footballers can talk pish, but I'm only going by the words that came out of their mouths.

"“Dembele and Sinclair both came off for them and they’re two big players for Celtic.

“They both did well against us last season so that was a little psychological boost to see them going off...

" hearing their fans get frustrated was music to our ears, that’s always great to hear."

Have a wee think about players - young players - who've been given game time recently. Young, eager and not too bad into the bargain! Not an exact maestro but raw and talented. Could he be worse than a passenger?
Johnston? You want to get rid of Scott Sinclair, who has scored 40 goals in a season and a half, and give his place in the team to Mikey Johnston?

Jesus Christ
What an Effin lunatic mikey Johnston for Scott Sinclair

He plays better when both Rogic and Roberts play. I think he’s missing both of them being in the team.

I'd say they were our three most intelligent and skilful players so it makes sense.

He looks like he’s carrying an injury too. Not moving freely at all.

Charming

In all honesty, I'd put myself on before Sinclair at the minute.

At least no ne would be expecting anything from me - trust me, they would get about five minutes before being stretchered off, knackered.

Also, I believe Armstrong plays better when Roberts plays.

Sinclair is still a fantastic player. He was poor on Saturday but still produced a great run and cross along the box which should have resulted in a goal; others did far less of note.

Suffering from the exceedingly high standards he set last season. He’s still our best footballer.

Sort of true and untrue.

Standards of last year were always going to be incredibly hard to replicate.

The ball he played across the six yard line was poor, at best. Summed up his play at present.

It was a great run and exactly the type of ball which a striker more arsed should have been on the end off.

How is that a poor ball?
