I have defended him and can accept loss of form but yesterday he was worse than a man down due to a total lack of effort. For example there was a ball played through and yes it was overshot but he just never bothered chasing he just stopped.
Can't really fault him for that. Would be a waste of energy chasing something like that. Think it's the one in the 2nd half you're talking about? Tavernier ended up letting it run out?

The one big bates sheperded out early second half? Think that was when grumbles started.

Played a fantastic pass to Tierney that led to the Forrest chance, had another great run down the left. Got himself into great position twice and should have scored. Didn’t think he was as bad yesterday as some are making out

He missed 3 sitters, pulled out of a 50/50 that led to the huns getting a corner and provided zero defensive protection. His tracking was embarrassing.

He deserves pelters. One pass and one run doesn't make a good game.

I think the shampooebag comments are really unfair. Sinclair and Forrest know 10 times out of 10 in any game as soon as they get the ball the boots coming . also do any of you think in the frenzy of a hun game a ball that breaks to you in front of goal in an instant you would leather it into the net easy peasy ?
Criticism Sinclair gets is ridiculous and the booing at full time shows how many supporters we have who have short memories.

Maybe the Sinclair of last season was an anomaly, and we're now seeing the real player? He's still making a contribution but he's a shadow of last season's player.
Yes. Those 15 goals so far prove he is pish.

I'm struggling to see how someone can make it to (just about) the very top of professional football, be a creative player who play is in a position where he gets leathered regularly, yet still be considered a shampooebag or a coward.

Has he always been one, yet still managed to get this far in his career? Or is it just a recent thing, which would indicate that it isn't really cowardice but something else entirely?
Great post.

This coward stuff is made up pish.

The hysteria has spread like wildfire. We're running away with this league again with not a single team in the country looking remotely like a challenge. We're headed for back to back trebles.

Of course, we have lots of room for improvement with several players looking tired and leggy. Business is great, we have money in the bank and one of the best managers in the business. The future is so green it looks like the Hulks bedroom FFS.

He was arguably our most creative and dangerous player first half. Poor second half, but that entire lightweight midfield were and that`s the problem this season, when we`re up against it a midfield containing Sinclair, Forrest, Armstrong and Mcgregor aren`t going to win any battles. I`m at the point I really dislike seeing the latter two in the same midfield because at some point or other in a game both struggle when there`s battles to be won.

The cowardly stuff is a narrative for internet cowards IMO, pish, he`s not a centre half, he`s a winger FFS.

I'm sure the people accusing players of being lazy cowards would be shocked if the same logic was used against them when they have a bad day at work.

You can have a bad day at work and still put the effort in. A few of our players look like they don't want to be here anymore sadly.

highlights on bbc are real lowlights for him, was excellent last season but looked a shadow of player he was, too many good chances fluffed that players of that level just need to score.

Getting a hammering on here, a loss of form from a confidence player is hardly surprising or unexpected, yet despite that has still been one of our more productive players this season.

Some of the vitriol about him this season has bordered on the hunnish
