The last few pages of this thread have been pathetic.
Coward, shampoo bag, disgrace, worst since Virgo ( the actual eff).
Catch a grip ffs everyone. Pretty tame to some of the stuff shouted at the game from the word go.
Can't remember if I said it yesterday but when he was getting booed they smelled blood. Their fans upped the noise and their team, which had started looking tired and hanging on even late in the first half, got a new lease of life.
Seems stating the obvious but players will be less likely to take chances on the ball and more likely to play safe if there's an increasingly furious support on their back. Worst I can remember and can only imagine how insane some people would get to lose to them.
They played like it was their cup final. They celebrated a shy so much you'd have thought it was a goal if you'd gone for a pish. They're in a bad place and feared another tanking, so a scoreless draw means the world to them, when their only league target is to get one over on us.
In some ways we are victims of our own success. The extra games we've played are easily dismissed, the amazing domestic record has been castigated by some as early as last February or March as an 'albatross' and draws are not only treated as wins by the likes of that mob yesterday, they are treated like defeats by our own support. We don't have the right to beat anyone, far less that mob who more than anyone have their professional pride at stake after being shat on for the last couple of years, including suffering record defeats. We certainly don't have right to beat them by two or three every time we play them.
Yesterday was a scunner but it's not the first trickle of water before the boat sinks. Compare it to some of the really bad times that the club has gone through and get a bit of perspective. A draw happened. Against them. That's football. Hopefully a bolstered, reenergised team will see normal service resumed the next time.

His cowardice today was regi blinker like. Your no expecting blood and thunder tackles fae him, but ffs stand your ground at least and track back.
Correct. I'm not expecting him to go into tackles like Brown. But I fully expect him to not crap his pants. That chance in the first half when he should wallop it in the net was the worst. He missed it because he didn't want to take a kick. Less said about his pass back into his own box and allowing Tavernier waltz past him at any opportunity without a hint of a challenge the better. He's much much better than this.
I am not sure if he missed that chance because he didn't want to take a kick. He simply took his eye off the ball. He gets brought down every week and is on the end of hard tackle after hard tackle but keeps going. He has never been good defensively. I don't accept that he is a coward as he missed a couple of chances. A coward doesn't do what he did v Astana. A coward doesn't do what he does v Anderlecht away. A coward doesn't step up to smash that penalty in v Motherwell with our unbeaten record on the line. A coward doesn't get racially abused & not go into hiding. Scott Sinclair is many things. A coward isn't one of them. When it comes to anything physical he shirks. Ducks out of headers too. Different kind of bravery from the psychological side of taking big penalty's etc. Needs to buck up his ideas but im hopeful he will.

He absolutely missed that chance yesterday because he didn't want to get a boot. That's not to mention the several times yesterday when he shirked responsibility in tackles, and made cowardly choices with and without the ball. I'll not even mention the positions he takes up at throw ins. He's a very good player. And I'm completely comfortable with acknowledging he's done many more positive things, you've listed them above , than negative in his time at Celtic. Yesterday was a disgraceful, cowardly performance. From our top player, /earner it deserves commented on. He's not the man for a battle. Brilliant player on his day, Yesterday, like many days this season was not one of those days. I just don’t accept he’s a coward.
I remember him being cleaned out in his first European game for us v Beer Sheva.
He hasn’t been firing on all cylinders at times this season but he’s still made a big contribution.

We won one a few seconds later and no one cheered. It was just an ordinary shy.

It was noticeable to me that he was pulling out of challenges for the ball,And I know eff all It certainly looked like it on one occasion but maybe he was just trying to be smarter and it didn't come off.
Ntcham did something similar (letting the hun charge in ) and just nicked the ball away. It happens all the time but I suppose if it doesn't come off then it looks bad and people made of iron in the stands are going to start dishing out white feathers.

Sinclair gets kicked up & down the field all week long.
Didn’t he play on v Aberdeen after being clattered?

He gets kicked up and down the park every week and usually just gets up and gets on with it. He’s probably still carrying an injury from the Shinnie tackle.

Has many many talents but no real fight in him from what I can see..
Hopefully the break allows him a rest and he comes back as his first season self as this season is unacceptable.
Edit: Was it second half when the ball was in the air at centre circle and he basically shat it to go for a header?? I was half pushed by that point so unsure of timing
