Sinclair is obviously still making a contribution but his level of play is not only far below last season, but far below what we should be expecting from a Celtic first-team regular. Forrest is currently performing at a far higher level.

If by making a contribution you mean he is our top scorer and top assist provider then yes.

Sinclair is a victim of his own high standards last season. When fit he is one of the first on the team sheet without a doubt. Great player

So he’s having a fabulous season then?

No complaints? No critique ?

I suppose it's only clueless ones that see a guy that cuts inside only to be dispossesed by the two or three opposition players who know exactly what he is going to attempt?

Please explain why "two or three opposition players" are marking him.
If you can't, stop talking absolute fecking nonsense.

I don't have an issue with criticism. However the notion that his form this season is "far below what we should be expecting from a first team regular" is hogwash.

I didn't say he was being marked by two or three players. He invariably cuts inside his marker to be faced by opposition players strung along the edge of the box and ignoring Tierney bombing down the outside. He then dithers and passes back to a midfielder who can't use KT as he's back-pedalling to get onside or back into position. Its not that difficult to see.

On his game he's a great player, obviously a far higher standard than most players in our league, but he's not been playing consistently well for a while. His 8 league goals are a very good return from his position, but it doesn't tell the whole story of the season so far. On too many occasions he seems weirdly hesitant to take on his man and has missed numerous chances when he has been clean through. I don't think he should be an automatic pick regardless of how he plays week to week, but any suggestion that he should be sold is obviously either a ridiculous internet overreaction or an attempt at a joke.

Scot Sinclair is one of our top players however, by his own very high standards, he is not playing well. He looks as though he has lost the confidence to take his man on and, although he has contributed with a few goals, he has definitely not been the force he was last season. :(

So a two yard pass from the just outside the six yard box constitutes wing play now?

Silly me.

Who the feck is this guy ?
Scott Sinclair. Plays left wing for us. Used to play for Swansea, Man City and Aston Villa. Keep up, Wailer.

You thought about sending your analysis to Rodgers? Reckon he'd be interested
