Suffered this year from the centre midfielders not running in behind and taking defenders with him. Yes his form has dipped but that's more to do with out change in style of play

Some of the absolute crap that’s on here and I’m hearing in the ground is just dreadful.
Every time the guy tries something and loses the ball, or shoots and doesn’t score and folk are moaning and shouting at him.
We are paying him good money, but it’s hardly the case that he’s not contributed this season, never mind last. Have the Astana games been erased from some people’s memories?
Most of our support talk nonsense, it's nothing new.
Sinclair would be my first name on our team sheet.

I suppose it's only clueless ones that see a guy that cuts inside only to be dispossesed by the two or three opposition players who know exactly what he is going to attempt?
Or is it only the clueless ones that notice the sitters he misses sitters on a regular basis?
Only the clueless ones who see him dithering and ultimately go backwards or lose possession when the obvious pass is apparent to everyone in the stadium?
Astana are European small fry,and both games were played before the transfer deadline...hmm.
Absolutely shat himself for most of the first half against Anderlecht,as did most of the team admittedly, and didn't really start playing until we went a goal up,a recurring trend throughout most of the season so far.
His body language is appalling at times, when benched at Pittodrie for example.
Most of the hod carriers have sussed his one trick routine and a glance at his playing career on wiki is revealing.
First name on the team sheet?
No thank you.

95 goals in 338 games. That'd be a good return for a striker nevermind a winger.

Right ye are chief! We'll see how it all pans out for the bold Scotty If he fails to hang onto the player of they year award and contributes less than 60 goals/assists (keeping up his current average) it'll be a bad season. For him and all the other players who also failed to do that.
I remember when it was considered a good thing when someone could still make vital contributions when trying to hit previous exceptional levels. For Sinclair it seems to be a stick to beat him with.
'Aye but take away all those match winning goals and assists and he hardly does anything...'

Sinclair is still our top scorer this season by the way. Not bad for a mentally weak left sided midfielder who is quite clearly pish.
