Scott Sinclair is a fabulous player. We are fortunate to have him at Celtic.

He's done. Time for Hayes to step up.

I may be the only one but I'm still optimistic that Hayes will pop a few goals for us before this season's over. He's looked a lot sharper in his last two sub appearances.

Is Sinclair’s form inferior to last season? I compare his first 6 months of each season to answer that very question. Saint or Slumper?
Reading that there will some on here frantically searching for reverse gear.
I don't think thats particularly true. Usually I'm the type of person who will go with the numbers over what my eyes see but I think on this occasion anyone watching Celtic this season will see that Sinclair has dropped a few levels from last season. There is also a lot of information missing on the comparisons.

Prior to the Hibs game at the weekend Sinclair had scored 2 goals in his last 13 games - 1 of which was a penalty. He seems less willing to take players on or drive to the byline. Playing more safe than before.

Hibs and Hamilton games were a sign of Sinclair at his best. Committing defenders, getting shots away, playing neat one two's with pace. I think he'll kick on from here and get back to his best.

In those 13 games, Sinclair came off the bench in three of them. One of the matches he wasn't in involved at all. The penalty you mention was also when we were under huge pressure to keep the run going.

And he was rightly lauded for it, the size of his balls was praised by all but Ste is right, Sinclair's overall play has been poor but, like Commons for example, he can be having a stinker yet still pop up with the one moment of brilliance or just be in the right place at the right time to win a game. Some players can play well yet have no end product, Sinclair can do the opposite and I mean that as a big compliment.

I'm not Sinclair's biggest fan, but if he cuts out hogging the ball for 10 seconds when there's a better option, then I'll start to warm to him again.

He was better yesterday, and I'd love to see more of the same.

Was going to post the same. At times he has to weigh up his options quicker and make a decision.

Also when he does draw two players to himself I would like to see someone just inside him who could take advantage.

Absolutely right. It's clear that Scott hasn't reached the levels of last season, and has been particularly poor for most of the last dozen games or so, but he is always capable of a moment of magic, and his overall performance the other night suggested he might be getting his mojo back.

Our best player and we’re lucky to have him but we desperately need him to find that form from last year. It will come.....but taking longer than most thought it would

Not in the best of form but still the best all round forward in the country.he has played a huge number of games since he arrived and is often double teamed yet he has scored more goals this season. If we had similar quality in other positions we would have finished the league by Christmas
