one of the things annoying me about him just now is that he has all the pace in the world yet doesnt want to run directly at anyone and use it. A few times last night he had Kara who looked a big lumbering CB isolated out wide and he wouldnt knock it by him and run he just strolled at the same pace? Been guilty of it domestically a lot too.
Like he wants to beat people with skill rather than his pace.

Very poor last night, needs dropped.
Needs a haircut too.
I would keep playing him just now and get him back on form before the zombies game, then a wee rest.

A couple of games on the bench would see a upturn in form but due to our predicament with Roberts out I doubt we would be happy to give a extended run to the haye maker

He has actually seen a fair bit of the bench recently. Had a decent game on Saturday but like many others a stinker on Tuesday.

Maybe not a surprise that he's had a dip in form - he only really had a consistent spell with Swansea in the Championship; the remainder saw him go from club to club on short term loan deals or benched for big chunks of the season. Granted that breaking into Chelsea's first team as a teenager or Man City's squad would be difficult for any player.

Hopefully he turns it around and his form picks up, but he does seem to start with a bang and then fizzle out until the next new challenge comes along.

A big, big contribution today.

Could have won it for us @ the end but people expecting players to score four goals per game are effing mental.

I thought his head was dropping in the 1st half, he looked an out of form player low on confidence. Showed real character again in the 2nd half, I don't think he played well but as usual he pops up with goals. Hopefully he kicks on from here.

much more like it in the 2nd half yesterday. cant believe it took him so long to run at whittaker and realise he would skin him everytime. can see hayes getting a start on wednesday but would rest forrest instead of sinclair now and hope he can get back to top form in next few weeks

The numbers don't lie. 40 goals and 19 assists in 68 starts is an incredible return for any player - and he does it in Europe, too.

He skinned Whittaker early from Edouards flick and that hun donkey should've been booked. Would've changed how he marked Scott for the rest of the game, but a tackle from behind on a Celtic player is one of the ones that is not a yellow card when performed on player wearing hooped jersey.
