I thought he was one of our better players tonight.
Agree along with Roberts tried to make things happen just no one around him to help out.

Thought he was rotten against an unforgiving team. Delayed when he was one on one allowing their 2nd man to get back and offered zero defensive help to KT

He was much better in the 2nd half. In the first half he was terrible, he kept running into people and misplacing simple passes.

As a team we gifted possession away far too easily. However the setup meant our wide players were isolated far too often hence them holding on to the ball for too long. Rogic coming on changed that to an extent in the second half.

The criticism on here is just ludicrous.

:cuckoo:

He was effectively playing as a wing-back in the first half because KT had obviously been told to play narrow. One of the few players willing to get on the ball and run at them and created at least two good chances.

We must have been watching different games.

I know he was isolated for a lot of the game. He was very poor in the 1st half to say he wasn't is ludicrous.

We had three shots on target from open play.
He had two of them.

He was more decent tonight.

He did alright going forward. Was extremely lazy defensively though.

He was pish.

It was a game of one half.

We got pumped in it.

He had possession three or four times first half and effed it.

Like Roberts he may have looked okay in possession once or twice but didn't support the full back at all.

Watching him run back five minutes after Alves had already crossed the ball in the first half was embarrassing.

The wingers had absolutely no support and were constantly surrounded and closed down. Thought the support play was verging on cowardly.

Think you guys were watching a different game to me. Thought he was poor with rubbish decision making. Continually gave the ball away and left Tierney exposed time and time again.

Did ok in parts but his touch lets him down too often in Europe. Shows the fullback too much of the ball.

Not gonna criticise him too much. Some of his decision making was poor, and he never really looked as if he had the beating of their defenders. But like Roberts on the other side, he was left utterly isolated on far too many occasions. A big part of our game is the overlap from the fullback, or the angles with the other midfielders inside, or people running beyond him into the channel. There was none of that tonight. What usually happened was that he got the ball with no one supporting him in any direction, he would try to take on a couple of defenders, and quickly lose the ball.

Like Roberts, he was given absolutely eff all support when he had the ball. No-one got close to give him a pass or to drag away one of the two defenders doubling up on him.

Sometimes a genuine threat, other times Sinclair lost the ball too carelessly.

Not the worst culprit of tonight's capitulation by any means.

Defensively poor but one of our only threats going forward for me.
