So what's the fee? The £3.8mil buyout in his contract???

No way it's the £4.5 reported by the smsm, they're just saying that to make it look like our biggest signing since Brown in 2007  £4.4
They start with a nice high figure, and bump it by 100k for every match in which the wantaway flop starlet fails to score

The one I liked was Efrain Juarez who signed for anything between £1.5m and £4.5m depending on what day it was

Looking forward to seeing him in the hoops, I think he'll be a good player for us and a massive upgrade on every other winger we have bar Roberts.

If a player doesn't turn out well for us the MSM like to throw his wages in with the transfer fee too.

Press don't have a clue about our transfer fees and never have.

People still talk about us spending £3m on Boerrigter which clearly didn't happen. It was the same when we signed JVoH, Naka and Zurawski. WGS said the press reports were way off.

This. It's borderline fabrication when transfer figures are thrown about. It's laughable.

I remember watching him at Swansea and thinking, imagine if we could afford someone like him, knowing that he would be out of our reach. He then left for Man City. If he is anywhere near the form he produced at Swansea he will be great for us.

Pretty sure he played as a striker a lot at Swansea and looked very good

I'd love to see what him, Rogic (if selected) and Roberts could do together as an attacking midfield three.

A sign of the times :rocker:

Soon we're going to have a right good team.

I think we're only a GK, CM and ST away.

Hope that he smashes it & really gets his career back on track.
Rodgers should get him going well.
Happy days.
