"penalties in big games" :)
Still the stupidest post ever on this board. Mentally weak. Was arrant nonsense at the time, and not a thing has happened to make it any less irredeemably nonsensical.

EDIT- also the most recent post by her/him

Not absolutely, I feel that both Armtrong and Brown (un-nominated) pushed him hard.

BTW, I didn't know Sinclair was a speccy four eyes

He would have been my choice as well.I feel though he could do with a rest before the cup final.

Without a doubt.

I'm sure there's stats out there, but there seems to have been a lot more assists than goals recently from Sinclair.

Not that that's a bad thing!

Brown would have been closer IMO. Shocked that he wasn't nominated TBH. Brings it on himself I suppose. ;) Still, it's great to see that it's our players that are competing for it even when not nominated.

The use of that expression "mentally weak" makes me very angry. The people who use it have no insight into the psyche of the person they are labelling. Even if they do have expertise to make such a diagnosis they have no right to put anyone down in that manner. I seem to recall it being used to attack Boyata.

doubt it. he has 7 goals in his last 6 starts.

can see him starting at least 2 of last 3 league games. he will want to break his record of 27 goals in a season and he may even reach 30 still

He's missed his fair quota of sitters tbh.
What if he can continue to improve?
I think he has the intelligence & workrate to get even better, he's settled down into the team/club/country now - after being out of form for a good while.
Now he's got his mojo back, I can see him building on this & possibly forcing himself into contention for an England call-up (if they had any sense).
Well deserved & seems a.really nice guy.

Brendan seems to have a magic touch when it comes to him, the guy has always had the talent it's just been about him being used correctly.

He's a class act a proper professional.

Congrats to Scotty, been absolutely class this season. Shame to see all the comments from the EPL fans on recent match of the day facebook posts giving it all "he was an average player in england and now he looks like messi up there etc etc". He said himself he's got his love for football back, and he's improved massively as a result. Just goes to show what playing for a club like Celtic and having that connection with the fans can do.

Aye, give him a chance a few yards out and he'll miss but get him cutting in on his right foot from 20 yards and it's top corner
