His penalty today was the 9000th league goal in our history.

Pretty cool :)

He's fantastic. We're lucky to have him, but tbh, I can't seem leaving us.

First goal was a an absolute beauty, maybe Griffiths and Dembele should be rested for the next game against Hearts, even if they are fit to play. 9 scored with no reply in the two games they both missed against Hearts. Sinclair was a constant threat today, combined superbly with Roberts for the first two, his penalty was emphatic to say the least.

If only he was mentally strong then that first goal would've taken the net off.
That mental weakness nonsense was the most unfathomable post of the season. It was truly bizarre.

Yep.
x2. I know Dembele has been sensational but when Scott plays, Celtic plays. He's been a joy to watch this season.

If it's a Glasgow bird chances are it won't be his mind she blows. It will be his bank balance.

Swings and roundabouts. Dembele turned the team around at Ibrox when several of them had shampoo their pants for example. And at McDairmid Park, too.

Sinclair has been sensational but it's Dembele for me overall. So far.

The 'POTY by absolute miles' stuff is unnecessary, and does a disservice to Sinclair, Dembele or any other Celtic player.

Griffiths was our POTY by an absolute mile last season. There is no such gulf between one player and the rest of our squad, because most players have upped their game massively under Rodgers.

He's a step above any other player in Scotland when he performs like it did yesterday. One of the few players we've had in the past 10 years (along with Griff actually) who, when through on goal before his second, you just knew he was going to score. There's never any doubt about it with him. A top level player.

I made a wee comment earlier that he's the top scorer in league matches but I should've added that a chunk of them are probably contenders for goal of the season.

Good to see also that Moussa is only one behind in second and Armstrong is 4th top :worthy:
