Assumed he'd take a coaching job at Liverpool, learn from a superb manager for a while and then he'd probably get offered bigger clubs than MK Dons, like Giggs.
Could do the same by coming to us learning under a superb manager too. ;)

I thought The Hat would've been a shoo in for MK Dons if they'd bumped him. His neck of the woods.

He was never really popular, I think, and there are suggestions that he never really had the players with him either.
I don't think the news was met with that much suprise in the media here.

Winning the league from Malmö's currently utterly dominant financial position in Sweden is pretty much a basic requirement. It seems they didn't think he would be able to guide them back to the Champions League (also being said that he wasn't their first, second, third, fourth choice to replace Hareide anyway and there are rumours - being given prominence in the papers - that their DoF wants to take over as manager, etc. ).

Still brutal to have to go after winning the league

Really snide article from videocelts about RD. Felt the tone was completely out of order.

Lambert isn't making a good first impression at Wolves

keeping the technical superior players out of the team, playing "donkeys" + donkeys out of position for the sake of them being Inglish and therefor being more "solid"

It's sad to know the job caused him that level of anxiety and physical illness. Many of us know of someone or have possibility felt themselves in such situations. Agree with you about the tone of the article.

6 defeats in a row.

Quite a shame as I like Palace but Pardew is an arse.

Giventhat a high percentage of Palace fans want Allerdyce, you may not be liking them for a while.
