FIFA need to bring in a rule that clubs cannot sack managers during the season without paying his contract in full before they appoint a new manager and accept a 20 point deduction

Clubs should only use the two player transfer windows to get a new manager in.
I'm sure we all would have loved the end of that season with Mowbray.
How did we do for the remainder of the season after he got sacked?

Also Alex Neil seemingly will be sacked if Norwich don't win at the weekend. His team are 4th and only 6 point off top spot FFS!

Interesting story in Ligue 1. Lorient, currently at the bottom of the table with only seven points in eleven games, have sacked their manager, first time they have done that in the middle of the season since 1988. They seemed to be willing to fully enter modern football craziness and appoint the useless old crook Roland Courbis (a kind of Mediterranean Allarcdyce), but his employer, a TV and radio station famous for their cringeworthy footie talk shows, refused to release him from his contract. Of course, some people complain, but I see no wrong from the employer, apart from the fact they broadcast crap shows and employ bampots.

They got ragdolled by the top team in the division at the weekend but apart from that surely he's doing well?!

They were talking about it on the radio this morning. Its madness, thats why I think they need to bring in harsh penalties for getting rid of managers during the season.

We won all our league games and lost to Ross County at Hampden.

I actually share your opinion about the insanity around managers sacking nowadays. In Mowbray's case, I was just relieved I wouldn't have to see him again in the dugout. I didn't expect that would save the season.

In Lorient's case I mentioned above, they will have to wait after the international break at best to get a new manager. All the more stupid since Ripoll wasn't really criticized and was backed by the supporters. In the first game under the caretaker, fans had banners to defend the sacked manager and chanted his name.

Mark Wilson new Airdrie first team coach..wan cell the new Director of Football..

Kevin McBride leaves

I actually liked Mark Wilson when he was with us, had a great season under Lennon and the celebration when he scored in the 'shame game' was fantastic.

Good luck to him.....he'll need it with that big galoot working alongside him.
he was utter keech
He was very good in Lennons first season.

Inter sack De Boer, no real surprise as they've been awful. Now looking for their 9th manager in 6 years.

Hahahaha just seen a brilliant quote from the Inter chairman.

Thohir: "We picked De Boer because we want to follow the Ajax model. We have invested a lot in the youth sector, we want to focus on youth."

That was last month. What a committed project. GIRUY de Boer though.

I'm sure they'd take Mourinho back once he's sacked at United.

Frank De Boer punted by Inter Milan.

Aaaaaaaaw.
Was he the one that missed the penalty or the other one?
That was the other one, he was the wink.

Didn't want to play the same teams 4 or more times a season ;)

Their owners seem a bit trigger happy, it'll be interesting to see how much time he gets.
