Any thoughts on how long before Moyes loses another job. The man just appears to be a pish manager after all, why the hell you would choose Sunderland as your way back into English football is beyond me aswell.
I'd have taken an on the up Championship side over a doomed EPL side. The Sociedad job was the wrong choice too, crazy decision. Tactically I don't think he's up to much, remember that United-Fulham game where all they did was lump crosses into the box? It was actually really funny by the end.

He'll get sacked and get the Scotland job.
Thank eff we didn't get Moyes.
Yep, I didn't think we stood a chance of getting Rodgers :)

He went in before a ball was kicked saying they should prepare for a relegation fight. How long before he starts saying they should prepare themselves for relegation.

He's doing a wonderful job in setting mackin expectations below their normal delusion of grandeur

I'm delighted we got the guy who likes his eggs sunny side up.
He just seems such a negative manager. Usually successes talk about how they are aiming for something like Rodgers did or when MON put der hun as the benchmark. Moyes seems to minimise his targets so as not to dissapoint.

Youre 100% correct. His tactics were shown up when he had decent players he couldn't get playing to a decent level. A chance of a chanpionship club on the up taking a season to get promoted might have been better for him. Then again he might have cracked under the pressure of having to win the championship.

A quick look there and it seems sunderland fans would drive him to the SFA for talks on the Scotland job.

After only two games in charge, Algeria sack their Serbian manager, Rajevac. Failure addict Alain Perrin is the favourite to take over. Morocco manager and ANC winner Hervé Renard or former Roma manager Rudi Garcia are also mentioned in the medias. And once again, no Algerian coach is even considered, which a bit awkward in the most jingoistic country on Earth.

There are no guarantees of success in the Championship.

Plenty of managers with better track records than Moyes have had the push from teams in that league over the last two or three seasons.

Gary Mills sacked by Wrexham. No one cares other than me obviously. European Cup winner with Forest and talked a good game but recruited the worst Wrexham team ever and believe me there is some competition for that title!. A couple of the players must have told him they were George Weah's great nephew or something. Literally not footballers in any sense.

Watching Celtic this season is like a blessed release in comparison to that utter omnishambles!

Why?

Has Algeria been secretly annexed by the USA? :o

The Algerians I see who come over for Leicester games are generally top guys.

Maybe the Algerian FA, unlike their English counterparts, are astute enough to admit their homegrown managerial "talent" just isn't up to the job.

As Mills is a former Leicester player, I take an interest in him too.

Was surprised to see him fail so badly at Wrexham as he'd done well with previous clubs at National League level.

York fans seem quite fond of him and wouldn't be too upset if he went back there.

Of course not, consistently a very competitive league and plenty of big clubs got stuck there and aren't big any more. Sunderland have had it coming for years, they're crap so I would rather try and build a promotion winning team than try and stop a dull, raggedy team from getting relegated.

Yep Mills to York is the rumour Ultra Fox. The irony is that Mills might do better with the squad that Jackie Mac built rather than the one he put together (on a limited fan owned club budget admittedly) at Wrexham.

Massive challenge for whoever comes in to try and make the current squad play like actual full time professional footballers. It was beyond Mills unfortunately

Probably because most of those are French. :arrr:

There was an international study published earlier this year claiming Algeria were the most jingoistic and racist nation in the world. Algerians were all the more furious since they couldn't blame the French, for it was done by an anglo-saxon organisation. I didn't analyse the study thoroughly, to be honest, just seen articles from Algerian medias.

If Algerian football is like their Moroccan neighbours I know better, it's nearly impossible to appoint a manager associated to a local club. Rivalries are too strong. There won't be a high profile French-Algerian manager before a few years, so until then they'll get French managers. It makes sense since most of their players are French.

Wrexham my home town, the performance last Saturday at tranmere was the final straw was painful to watch, only been to the racecourse once since they dropped out the league, had my season ticket at parkhead for 20 years now and don't see anything changing in the near future

Man United was way over Moyes head, totally out of his depth, he has floundered badly since leaving Everton. If he gets the bullet from Sunderland, expect WGS to leave the Scotland job almost immediately "by mutual consent" to make way for Moyes.

That would be a terrible move right enough (for Scotland) as we would be appointing a proven failure.
