You could be right, his confidence must have taken a real battering though with this latest episode and the way he was punted at United. Whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger might well apply in this case though, he can't go much lower than he already is currently, hopefully he will pull through.
He's not ill or at death's door - he's just been a shampooe manager for a couple of years.
Bueno, jefe.

McNamara never recovered from losing Armstrong, Mackay-Steven and Ciftci from his Dundee Utd side. Kind of funny considering most of us would happily send all three of them back to Tannadice!
His bank balance was fine

Bizarre arrangement at DU. Crazy they gave Jackie a percentage, but where did the rest of it go? Debts?

Fair play to him took a job on last season that no one e would go near it didn't work out for him better managers than Jackie have black marks on their cv but can see him rocking up at a club like Falkirk,Dunfermline,or stmirren in the next few years to slowly rebuild his reputation.

As I posted earlier, the bad experiences he has had at York and the way it ended at Tannadice could well stand him in good stead for his future endeavours. Once he takes stock, he should be able to learn from it and come out of it better equipped for the future.

I thought he already had. Read it on the BBC gossip page so no doubt lifted from some red top rag, he's far too young for international management.

The bit about him being useless is far more relevant than his age I think

He's looking 20 years younger, might want to rethink taking the Villa job.
