I vote Juneau gets back on for the day McNamara gets punted.
I got a text from the Bold Yin late last night in which he was wishing he could be back on kds for one night just to give his thoughts on Jackie McNamara after this latest result. ;)
When did he get banned? And why does he hate McNamara so much?

Mark Wilson linked with the Alloa job.

Long road back for Jackie, that's a serious career slump.

FURTHER to the statement last week regarding the future of York City Manager, Jackie McNamara and following the game on Saturday, it has been decided, in the best interest of York City Football Club, that Jackie McNamara step down as First Team Manager.

After purposeful discussions it was agreed that results and performances, in the main, have not been acceptable nor have they achieved the high standards expected.

In order to assist the managerial transition period and to accommodate a thorough identification, interview and appointment process, the Chairman has asked Jackie McNamara to train and prepare the team until a suitable candidate has been determined.

This process should be completed within two weeks.

Was it? They must have scored with the last kick.

Bizarre if McNamara agrees to stay on until they find a replacement.

Yeah, was pointed out in the post above.

They must have equalised very late on - I think I last checked it with a couple of mins to go and they were winning 1-0

edit 88th min penalty

Getting on a bit
[ * * * * * * * * * * ]
Being sacked in this truly bizarre way after being a handed a letter by the Chairman sacking him in a corridor at McDiarmid Park immediately after losing there to St. Johnstone, poor Jackie really has come down a long, long way, you wonder where his next job in football will come from - if at all in the near future - it's a long way back from where he is now.
The bit about him "working notice" to allow them to replace him is very odd. Where he goes next from here is anyone's guess.

He'll get a gig back up here.

Wouldn't be surprised if he ends up at Alloa

You could be right, his confidence must have taken a real battering though with this latest episode and the way he was punted at United. Whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger might well apply in this case though, he can't go much lower than he already is currently, hopefully he will pull through.

The McNamara one is strange. I expected he would pull in a few decent guys form United and loanees from Celtic to get them up the league. I guess the writing has been on the wall for a while as he did move family down at start of this season.

it was all going so well at Partick Thistle too. In hindsight, he should have stayed on there a couple of seasons

 Like a cuckold husband being told to hang about the house to do the hoovering and the school run, etc, until big Davie moves his stuff in when he gets back onshore from the rigs.

Ridiculous and degrading. Junueu must be loving this.

McNamara never recovered from losing Armstrong, Mackay-Steven and Ciftci from his Dundee Utd side. Kind of funny considering most of us would happily send all three of them back to Tannadice!
