Sun claiming Leicester after BR.
Stick to the Sevco transfer exclusives.

When does Skrtel jet in?

Leicester is about the borderline of the type of club I can see him leaving for.

Still don't see it.

They need to get rid of Puel for a start

I just don't see BR leave for a job at Leicester or anyone of their ilk for that matter.

A Newcastle, Everton or West Ham mibbe, ie a bigger, underperforming side with lots of room to grow into.

Who was the team BR said he turned down last year ?

Absolutely no chance would Rodgers leave Celtic for Leicester. As a career move, there’s nothing in it for him.

Talk at the time it was West Ham, dont think there was concrete interest just an informal enquiry to him/the club

Plus the fact that Leicester sack their managers, even when they get success.

Good to see Stubbs get the St. Mirren job. Always preferable to have non huns in charge at other clubs in the Premier.

Only someone that's desperate would take the Leicester job. Winning the title a few years ago means their supporters expectations far exceed anything the club can sustain.

Hibs winning the Scottish Cup masks the fact Stubbs had two goes at getting Hibs promoted and failed.

Had the best team in the playoffs twice and collapsed.

Not sure he's a good appointment.

My first reaction was that it was a good appointment for both parties. On second thoughts, maybe you're right.

Former Wales boss Chris Coleman has been named as the new manager of Chinese club Hebei China Fortune. No doubt earning a fortune! Some of these average managers always seem to land on their feet.

An alternative view is that Stubbs completely rebuilt Hibs' squad after the catastroeff that Butcher left them in, and led them to their first Scottish Cup in 114 years whilst also beating top flight sides along the way.

On balance, I think this is a good appointment for St Mirren.

The Leicester job is the absolute worst option for a guy like Rodgers because after that unbelievable title win they had under Ranieri, everything Leicester do for the next decade at least is going to be an anti-climax. The fact they’re talking about sacking their manager for “only” finishing ninth - a perfectly respectable outcome for a club of their standing - tells its own story.

Don't think they're sacking him for that. I think the senior players are basically running the show there. They got rid of Ranieri and Shakespeare too.
