£50m a year and gets to coach an Arab country. What's he thinking!?
Probably that it’s a short career and he has a family to feed.
Aye I'm sure Zidane's family would starve to death without him managing human-rights-violating nations.
One of those kids is 23, they take a lot of feeding.

Balague on Sky Sports News just now saying that Real won’t go after Pochettino as they can’t be arsed negotiating with Daniel Levy for a month and not getting him

That’s the benchmark to aspire to, Lawwell.

SSN twitter has just said that Real have ended their interest in him.

He could end up with a manager furious that he wasn't allowed to go.

Managing Real Madrid is probably the biggest stage a manager can have albeit a very unforgiving one.

Pochettino is pretty young for a manager, he's plenty of time for the Madrid gig.

Rags going with Neilsen/Stubbs/McIntyre/Caldwell and The Fat Gardener    being interviewed for the St.Mirren gig.

Caldwell will just turn up tell them when he is ready to start.

That sneaky feck McCoist won't get it but I would quite like to see Lennon rip the pish* out of the fat priiick yet again.

* Alternatively Lennon could just knock six shades of shiiiite out of the cowardly two faced rat.
They are acting quite pally at that charity game looking at the pics.

I really hope someone is making a fly-on-the-wall documentary of Joey Barton's time at Fleetwood Town.

I believe Lancashire Police have exclusive rights to that upcoming ‘documentary’.

am hearing Samual Allardici for Madrid?
My wife called the Allardyce family the Allardeechees
She pronounced cellophane weirdly too!
If she was commentating she’d call Tannadice tannadeechee

Not sure if it’s been mentioned but Hopkin of Livingston might not return after the summer, back to back promotions very impressive if he doesn’t return then I’d imagine odds for an immediate return to the championship would be even shorter than they already are

Pochettino teams play attractive football but don’t actually win anything.

That’s what they said about Rodgers when he managed in England. Something tells me Pochettino would find it easier to win trophies at Madrid than Spurs!

It's quite difficult to win things in England.

Having said that, Spurs should have won the league when Leicester did. And you'd expect at least a few more cup final appearances.

Pochettino is a great manager though.

If he wanted the Real gig he shouldn't have signed a new deal about a week ago.

I think Neilson would be a great aquisition. He showed with hearts that he knows how to get a team together with little cash.

McCoist would like to get back into management and is linked to the St.Mirren job.

Kevin Thomson and Kenny Miller are being linked with the Livingston job.

Hope none of the Hun carrots don't get near any vacancies that are going around.

Anyone who appoints McCoist should be sacked for utter stupidity.

Trusting McCoist with your team is as wise as trusting Charles Green with your money.
