Morton appoint Ray McKinnon on a one year deal ..if anyone's interested :ph43r:
Well at least we get to keep Kennedy :twitch:
I think Dundee United probably jettisoned him a bit too hastily, Laszlo was no improvement at any rate.

Lampard gets the Derby job on a 3 year deal. Don't see it going well. Very tough league and club to take as your first gig.

Not a bad first job. Would imagine that there are managers in the EFL a bit put out. Will be intresting to see if any of the England so called 'golden generation' can cut it as managers.

Lampard will be able to turn to his uncle Harry for advice. His contacts could be of great use to him at that level.

It’s also rumoured that Jody Morris will be going there as assistant. He’s done well with the Chelsea youths so might be a decent coach.

Or he will quickly get bored with the boring, mundane but bloody vital prep work.
Frustrated when he cannot actually influence games from the touch line.
Pissed off that he has to sell his better players and sign sub standard replacements.
Or when he discovers talking a good game from the warmth of a studio is so much easier than actually doing it for real.

We will see. There is a reason few great players become great managers. Of course none of the above applies to Stevie G.

Hopkin has left Livi. Not got a job to go to yet, but his contract has expired and he won't sign a new one with them.

We'd have some pool of managers if he came along anol. Scottish football is improving, time to make it count in Europe FFS.
No doubt the same was being said of Owen Coyle in October.

Mr Gerrard to you, Timothy.

I wonder if the Derby fans are telling everyone who will listen that all eyes of the world are on them? Fans of other clubs up & down the land will be flocking to Pride Park just to see Lamps on the touchline?

Amusingly, there's a much higher chance of players going on loan from Chelsea & him being able to get some former teammates to sign than Gerrard will be able to muster up.

Both promoted managers gone. Would be pretty surprised if both don't go straight back down. St Mirren might have a chance with Accies still hanging around like a bad smell.

Wonder will Hartson go for that job

He's been their 'striker coach' for a good few months now anyway

Hopkin away from Livingston might be no bad thing. If the play offs are anything to go by, the football was touch and hoof - or just hoof - for ninety minutes. Also prone to plenty of challenges on opponents that with a bit less luck might have ended in injuries.

Will he just transfer that to St Mirren?

Good business sense.

Livingston will go straight back down and he won't have that on his CV. Just back to back promotions.
