Interesting read on Jurgen Klopp on the BBC football page by Spanish football writer Guillem Balague

He discusses Jurgen's early managerial career and his love of the counter press which sounds very familiar to what Brendan Rodgers talks about in his press conferences.

Interview with Jurgen Klopp

Claims he'd like to be at Liverpool until 2022. If Brendan ever decides to go to pastures new I'd have Mr Klopp in a heartbeat if he were available.
Good gear?

Klopp will never be the Celtic manager ffs.

Why not

Do you think we've reached our peak with Brendan Rodgers, I don't at all
Jurgen Klopp will have much bigger offers £££ wise & chance of Eureopan succes than working here for us.

Not going to happen.

See Hopkin is being strongly linked with the Morton job. Can't understand that at all after last weekend, past affiliation with the club or not.

He can probably easily remember how he was bumped at Hearts. I know St Mirren's board love him now, but if he's rooted to the bottom of the league, he might find himself wishing at Christmas he'd gone for it at Sunderland.

Shame for St Mirren, but if they got Lambert then that would be a great appointment for them.

As of last night, Morton felt they had a really good chance of getting him. Better wages and player budget than Livi can offer.

I think Hopkins would be labelled a bottler for taking it but it does seem as though there a strong chance he'll take it.

Yeah, seems strange. Would definitely say Morton are the bigger club but I don't think the budget and resource they will offer will be anywhere near enough to win the league or go up.

Perhaps he sees Livi taking an absolute shoeing this season and is getting out before his reputation is hit.

Jack Ross is likely going from a salary of around £40,000 a year to £250,000 with enormous bonuses on top of that if he can get Sunderland promoted. Incredible how many people think he genuinely had a tough decision to make here.

And he'll never be known as 'Mr Klopp'.

Only winkers would use that term to address a football manager. I know that post was meant to be a 'Whoosh' post but I cringe when I hear the term Mr so and so when referring to a football manager.

No Klopp will not be seen in Scotland unless he's managing an opposition side.
The use of 'Mr' is one of reverence. I've seen/heard Lions speak of Mr Stein, winkers that they are.

Peculiar thing to get your breeks in a tangle over.
You know what I'm talking about. If players or ex players want to call their ex boss by the term 'Mr' then thats up to them.

Supporters on the other hand.

I have never heard nor seen any supporter of any team except one who calls a manager by the term Mr.

Would you engage in a conversation down the pub questioning the merits of Mr Strachan, Mr Lennon, Mr Deila or Mr Rogers

eff off with your ex Lions winkers comment as well Pathetic attempt at a comparison that was.

On the Livingston front, it appears their assistant manager David Martindale did six years in the slammer for being part of cocaine ring. :ffs:

So you meant to qualify your statement by saying "any outside of football" winkers then. Should have just said so.

If you go on United forums like Red Cafe, it's more common to see him referred to as Fergie or SAF.
