Interesting read on Jurgen Klopp on the BBC football page by Spanish football writer Guillem Balague

He discusses Jurgen's early managerial career and his love of the counter press which sounds very familiar to what Brendan Rodgers talks about in his press conferences.

Interview with Jurgen Klopp

Claims he'd like to be at Liverpool until 2022. If Brendan ever decides to go to pastures new I'd have Mr Klopp in a heartbeat if he were available.
Good gear?

Klopp will never be the Celtic manager ffs.

Lucien Favre leaves Nice to become the new Dortmund manager. Should do well there, good manager.

Take away the wage and that is insanity. They are an absolute basket case.

They're going into a league they should absolutely skoosh. If he's as shrewd as expected it's a hefty wage rise and what should be an automatic promotion for a potentially pretty big club in a very shampooe position. Get them up and sort them out and he'll have better offers moving forward.

The guy didn't have a lucrative playing career and would be on a modest wage at St Mirren. The money he'll make there may be genuinely life changing and if it doesn't work out it probably won't stop him from coming back up the road and getting a decent gig.

 By all accounts the guy that now owns Sunderland seems to be ripping the club up from top to bottom and has plans in place to address the shambles they are in. He was helped by the Ellis guy writing off hundreds of millions worth of debt.

If the new owner gets it right Ross will have a fighting chance. He has absolutely nothing to lose and will do well I think.

Aye. They might be a bit of a mental club (although that could change under new owners anyway) but he’d be off his head not take it when his wages are increasing five fold.

I guess ross had to go for it,even though it's a total poisoned chalice of a gig. It's like when lambert took the villa job and then his career went into freefall afterwards.

I hope it works out for him though.

And he'll never be known as 'Mr Klopp'.

Only winkers would use that term to address a football manager. I know that post was meant to be a 'Whoosh' post but I cringe when I hear the term Mr so and so when referring to a football manager.

No Klopp will not be seen in Scotland unless he's managing an opposition side.

The use of 'Mr' is one of reverence. I've seen/heard Lions speak of Mr Stein, winkers that they are.

Peculiar thing to get your breeks in a tangle over.

It's hardly the same effing thing, unless Jurgen was flying over every second week from Stuttgart to watch Anton Rogan play football as a kid.

He ought to do well.

The club is the biggest in their league, has new owners who've picked it up with no debt and given their recent past, the only way can be up.

It's actually a good gig for an ambitious young manager.
