Conte is one miserable sod. The sooner he’s punted, the better.

Face tripping him.

Pellegrini takes the West Ham job.

That's some upgrade from Moyes. Terrific appointment.

David Ornstein (pretty much top tier for Arsenal news) pretty much confirming Arteta and the fact they'll have a £50 million transfer budget pre-player sales.

Welp. Either Arteta is the second coming of Pep or Arsenal are doomed to the Europa League for the foreseeable.
The man has a reputation and people simply want to play for him. No doubt Arteta will be on the phone to close pals Messi, Iniesta, Rooney et al saying Come up and make yourself a hero, Don’t retire, come here for a season and give me a hand’...

Potentially.

I do wonder though - West Ham do have a history of going for 'names' rather than actually well thought-out appointments/transfers. Pellegrini is a good manager, but I wonder if this has been properly thought through.

by the West Ham Board?

Karen Brady and her porn king chums? I don't think the capacity to weigh up the options beyond " Pellegrini, aye ok, heard of him" comes into it.

I wonder if the reason Arsenal haven't announced their new manager is they are waiting on Chelsea sacking him first.

The only big job that'll be available this summer is possibly Real Madrid, he might not have as many options as he should.

This.

“Show us your CV.. PL winners medal? The job is yours”.

Fancy them to go down next season. In their current state they need a manager with something to prove. Not a guy like MP winding down his career.

Jack Ross at Sunderland for talks, twice in a couple of weeks he's been offered jobs in England. I hoped he'd have at least 1 season in the SPFL.

Sunderland are a shambles of a club at the moment. I'd avoid them if i was Jack Ross.

If he's a failure, he'll be back in the SPFL at the lower end. If he's a success, I reckon he'll succeed Rodgers.

Surely he wouldn't be daft enough to take that job.

They’ve got a new owner in so there’s a chance they might not be as hopeless off the field as they have been in recent years. The last Sunderland regime of Ellis Short, Martin Bain, etc, has been woeful.

Arsenal to appoint Unai Emery according to the BBC. Announcement set for later this week.

Didn’t see that coming at all.
