Maradona is the new manager of Dynamo Brest in Belarus.
Big Sam should have gone there. Then they'd have a pair of breasts.

Maradona isn't lacking in that department either.

But you'd still prefer Allardyce to "the lad with the teeth" ?

All day Oscar lad, all day!
Is it just because he was Liverpool manager?

You've had quite a few who have gone from Liverpool to Everton, sometimes directly eg Beardsley.

Players mate, not managers. There are people who have played for Everton and Liverpool but nobody has managed both sides. Correct me if I'm wrong but nobody has managed both Celtic and Rangers? That's a step too far. Imagine John Greig managing Celtic? see?

John Greig’s not a like for like comparison as he spent his entire career at Ibrox. Would be like Phil Thompson managing Everton.

Okay, let's do it your way. No Rangers/Celtic manager has then gone on to manage Celtic/Rangers. Why? There's no appetite for it in the support or the boardroom. Or would you like/accept an ex Ranger in charge of Celtic?

Wee Dick was the only comparable one worth a eff in my lifetime and they were cheating.

Daresay I'd have been a bit WTFy if we'd appointed him instead of say, Mowbray, but I doubt I'd have been too bothered, his recent record aside.

A team like Everton aren't going to be breaking into the top six anytime soon.

Even if the football is poor, he has kept them up with little fuss. They were in free fall when he took over.

Surely he deserves another season?

I am no fan of him btw just don't think sacking a manager for no reason other than the support don't like the style of play is mental.

Yep Blackburn did the same with him and you see were they ended up.

I've got no sympathy for fans of clubs like Sunderland,West Brom,Stoke,A Villa,Newcastle etc. The fans of these clubs are always moaning despite being safe in the epl.

Eventually these teams get what they deserve, relegation. I'd love to know exactly what these fans expect?

Guys like Allardyce and Pulis are solid managers.

Everton might just regret punting big Sam. Their squad is rotten and after spending 200 million.
Two years ago we were all moaning and wanting rid of a manager who’d won two titles in a row. Quite rightly too as he was a dud. It’s pretty arrogant to be lambasting English fans for daring to have some ambition and wanting a manager who may be able to achieve something other than survival. Everton fans are absolutely right to want Allardyce out. Why shouldn’t they dream about trying to break into the top six or playing attractive football? It’s less than five years since they had exactly that under Roberto Martinez before it all turned sour for him.
They finished eighth?

You all mix together at games.

Maradona is the new manager of Dynamo Brest in Belarus.
I look forward to Dynamo storming their championship under the direction of one of the greatest ever players.

His massive name will bring incredible box office and just imagine the respect he'll command walking into that dressing room.

He'll have some amazing contacts and players will be desperate to play for Maradona.

Amazing.

An ex-Rangers manager who was great at his job and always treated Celtic with respect would be welcome at our club, yes. Difficult to think of anyone who’d fit that criteria but if, for argument’s sake, Paul Le Guen suddenly rediscovered the success he had at Lyon then I would have had no issues with him at Celtic.
