On the Sevo manager appointment I would just say that

It's great decision for them, maybe sell a lot more season tickets than otherwise.

And it's great for everyone else as well because he'll probably be worse than Pedro.

Sky sources understand Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes is one of the names being considered by QPR to takeover from Ian Holloway at Loftus Road.
Holloway was sacked by the Championship club earlier today.
McInnes has qualified Aberdeen for Europe for a fifth successive season and can seal second spot in the Scottish Premiership again this weekend if his side equal or better rangers result in the final fixtures of the season.
He has previously rejected approaches from Sunderland and Rangers.
Former England manager Steven McLaren has also been linked with the QPR post.
Shall I have a word?

Jack Ross been given permission to speak to Ipswich . Shame if he is for the off . Would have liked to have seen how he would have done in SPL
I would be surprised if he went down there yet.

Just heard the Lennon interview. I watched his interview with BT after the match and he wasn't anywhere near as angry as his interview in the press room later on that night.

Strange to come out and blame the players like that, although I think it was a shot at the board, the players can't be too happy about getting slaughtered like that. They will either react well to it and give him something on Sunday or it will go the opposite way.

I don't really know what he expects, from the outside looking in, it looks like he's been giving decent money to spend on wages this year and the loan signings he has made have been great fits, but they were always going to need replaced at the end of the season. As for McGinn and McGeogh, its a big area to fill but that's what happens when you work at a smaller team.

McInnes may move on this year, would that be a better fit money wise for him?

The reaction to Lenny slaughtering his players is noticeably different when he’s doing it at another club.

If he defended them at Celtic he’d get a lot of grief for not calling them out. If he called them out he’d get grief for criticising them in public.

Not saying either is right/wrong, just that there seems to be general agreement on it when the emotion is removed.

This was purely lennon deflecting from his poor tactics on the night that cost his side 2nd place. When things don't go his way he loses the place completely. That's why he will never get a big job in England.

To bemoan a lack of professional attitude from the players whilst behaving like he did defies belief. Hibs were actually in a good place, the fans had got totally behind him and now he's jeopardised that with something that really should have been said behind closed doors.

Think Lennon is just playing a bit of brinkmanship with the Hibs board over all this.

There's a good chance he'll lose the likes of McGinn, McGeough and Allan over the summer. Add in his two main goal threats since January, Kamberi and McLaren are only there on loan, you can see the potential scenario of him losing the guts of his team this summer and the need for a substantial rebuilding job.

If he's not going to get the funds to do what he wants then he might be better getting out now rather than regressing next season and beyond. That being said, I have absolutely no idea where he would go if he did leave in the next few months.
We'll probably loan him Lewis Morgan.

He's criticised the players and got a reaction a few times. But there's only so many times you can use thr same tactic.

Weird that he's raving at not knowing the budget for next season, when he admits to not knowing this season's.
Probably a culmination of things that got him so riled.

Hope he beats seven & gets 3rd, as he said, that's respectable.

The first sentence could describe most of the top managers in world football FFS. He may never get a top job in England, but it wont be for that reason. He's already had the top job in Scotland anyway

Like Guardiola, Klopp and Conte, aye?

Diego Simeone is forever getting linked with jobs, too.

Lennon won't get a big job in England because he's not a good enough manager. That's it. Nothing more, nothing less.

I don't give a toss if Neil Lennon looses it now and again. He is a Celtic man through and through. Do supporters forget the personal and physical attacks this man had to endure just because he was a Roman Catholic Northern Irishman managing Celtic. :ffs:

It's not really a case of whether he loses it any more than Conte or whoever.

Conte will walk into another extremely highly paid job pretty much as soon as he wants because of consistent achievement as a manager at the top of the game. If Lennon leaves Hibs, he's probably not even competing with someone like Jack Ross or Alex Neil in terms of jobs in the English Championship.

There is such a thing as overplaying a hand. He might be disappointed by Wednesday's result, the terms offered to McGinn and McGeouch, the fact he has a number of loan signings, and a major rebuild ahead. However he has hardly made himself indispensable to Hibs. He has done very well and they'll need to go far to replace him successfully, but it's not beyond the realms of possibility that the next Hibs manager will get them to fourth in the table again.

This is Hibs, in the Scottish Premiership. He surely knows what their budget is. By all accounts McGeouch will leave for Blackburn, newly promoted from League One. This should be all the evidence required to make him aware of where things stand.

That’s not really got anything to do with him coming out with ill-advised comments after an Edinburgh derby though has it?
