As for Lenny, Sutton commented how he’s calmed down which he has clearly not, nor would I expect it, but he’s better off not giving interviews straight after defeats, understand his frustrations but the comments are none too clever.

Has to be careful. If the players think he'll throw them under the bus he'll lose them. That said, I'd rather see some passion than nothing at all.

Before Lennon gives interviews like that he might want to think how he'd have reacted if MON & WGS gave those interviews after the humiliations we took away from home in the Champions League against lesser sides with our greatest team in 30 years.

Swansea have had 8 managers in 4 years. A real shambles of club now.

Hopefully it's similar to the last time he was given permission to speak to another club - a mark of respect by the Board/Directors at St Mirren and Jack Ross stays put. The more good managers in our top flight the better.

St Mirren straight in as clear favourites for relegation next season, then.

For the good of his own development, too. He’s progressing nicely, surely he’d be wiser to stay put and tackle the step up to the SPL, and with a club he knows and trusts? The demands of him at St Mirren would/should be more realistic than an Ipswich, and I’d hope there’s enough goodwill at St Mirren for him to be afforded time to rectify any extended run of poor results. Couldn’t see that happening at yer Ipswich’s

I don’t think his comments were heat of the moment. He’s not happy at losing mcgeouch and probably mcginn as well as the Swiss loan fella

Wasn't the right time to criticise the players when It was his tactics that were all wrong.

Sky sources understand Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes is one of the names being considered by QPR to takeover from Ian Holloway at Loftus Road.
Holloway was sacked by the Championship club earlier today.
McInnes has qualified Aberdeen for Europe for a fifth successive season and can seal second spot in the Scottish Premiership again this weekend if his side equal or better rangers result in the final fixtures of the season.
He has previously rejected approaches from Sunderland and Rangers.
Former England manager Steven McLaren has also been linked with the QPR post.

Career wise, this is the best time for McInnes to go.

The St. Mirren you mention...

Are they related to the club who sacked Danny Lennon about a year after he won the League Cup ;)

Or the club who fired Alex Ferguson

That certainly is one interpretation of what it means to be 'qualified' for Europe...
