Lennon’s showing himself up a bit here. Saying 4th isn’t good enough when at the start of the season he said he was aiming for top 6.

Love him but come on?
He’s a good manager, but a grade A bawbag.

He’s effed off that he’ll probably finish below that Hun team. I’d be effing livid about that.
Hope he knows he's got a good chance to GIRUT on Sunday.

Finishes above them with a 6 goal swing.

G'wan, Neil. Stubbs took 4 off them at Easter Road a few years back. What's an extra two, really?

I was really just hoping for a win to cement the huns to 3rd place, but a 6-0 win would also be awrite I suppose..

Quoting limited to 3 levels deep
How else is he going to work with better players ? Not in a mid table championship side.

He made a total arse of himself last night, His inability to look at himself and take responsibility has always been his weak point.
A mid table Championship side will have far more money and probably better players than Hibs,at least of equal ability. It also would be a chance for Lennon to increase his profile in England. If he did well perhaps an EPL club might take an interest. I'm just speculating all this btw!

I agree with your last paragraph.
Average wage in league one is over 2k a week now, if I mind right. Championship must be pushing 7-10 now.

chucking his toys out the pram does him no favours, sometimes its better to go in a dark room and punch the walls instead of letting rip and saying things you might regret, if i was a chairman (incl petrie) i would be having second thoughts about either employing him or giving him more transfer cash if he threatens to quit after a bad result, he cant really be disapointed with finishing 4th in his 1st year back up, outside celtic (maybe even above celtic) they have played the best football, if a couple more results had gone their way they would be finishing second, he has the chance to build over the summer and take hibs a step further, quitting would be a massive mistake because if it looks like he cannot take the pressure no club with ambition is going to touch him, if he stays at hibs and has them fighting for runner up and reaching finals he will be in with a shout when Brendan eventually goes.

Carvahal binned by Swansea.

Could have swore he was a darling down south as recently as March with a few wins and his pithy, Caixinha-esque aphorisms.

Turning a derby defeat into an attack on his club was an incredibly stupid thing to do and definitely not the actions of someone who was thinking clearly.

If that was celtic I'd be expecting our board to have a "quiet word" or just say "the doors there pal".

Was amazed they went for him, one of my colleagues is a Sheffield Wednesday fan and it sounds like carvahal is a bit of a nutjob.

Swansea's recent track record with managers is amazing full stop. And not in a good way.

Lennon has made a bit of an arse of himself. Getting tore in to Hanlon in full view of the TV cameras was a riddy also. They've had a great season, he should reign himself in.

Speaking of Swansea, I'm surprised we haven't heard much from J_C_X since they've been relegated.

He's been wanting them to go down since Laudrup was the manager.

He will be losing Mcginn, Mcgeouch, Barker, Kamberi, Maclaren , possibly Scott Allan, either he doesn't fancy rebuilding his entire front line or he was angling for more money to spend in the sumner

Unless he has a number of clubs wanting him to take over, then he should relish the thought of rebuilding Hibs. It’s a great job for him, and if he can get just a little more consistency out of them then I have no doubt he could push for 2nd/3rd and even a cup each year. Realistically I don’t see that he has achieved enough at Hibs to get a more high profile job elsewhere just yet.

I would like to see him stay at Hibs, it’s a perfect club for him, and he is well positioned to take loans from Celtic, and a host of English clubs given he must have enough contacts.

Regardless of whether Agent Gerrard does anything in his new job, his name does bring more exposure to the league in general and it would be a stupid time for Lenny to walk away from what he has. There are managers and players falling away from the top flight in England that are going to start turning their attention to Scotland. I would imagine that if Lenny leaves Hibs, they will have no shortage of surprisingly good candidates applying for the role.
