That's my thinking too.
Why would anyone GAF? :ponder: That's like us claiming we'd have won the league in 2005 if Larsson had stayed. It actually just rubs it in more, as the reality is we lost. It would actually make it sorer for them that they might have won / done better but they couldn't hold on to their manager because their club is in a terrible state. Why this would be painted as some sort of victory is mind boggling.
They're huns mate, they're deluded.

But why would you care? When slagging them for finishing 4th, they turn round and say they'd have done better if Warburton stayed. That just isn't going to help them at all is it? I don't understand why anyone would GAF. It's like us claiming if Jock and the Lions were still in their pomp we wouldn't have lost to Molde. It makes the pain worse, not better, to realise you're gash and with little hope of it changing.

I don't know. Like most things, I don't really care enough to discuss it tbh

The Warbuton rumour seems to be growing, was told it by a hun in the work this morning.

He said it was to do with bonus payments. Assuming it's not a bonus for losing the final.

Ajax appoint Peter Bosz as new manager after he led a team to a second place finish in Israel last season. Seems like the sort of low key appointment we were dreading our board would make!

He's been managing for more than 15 years and last year was his only one out of Holland. No quite Ronny.

Yeah but he seems like a bit of a journeyman. More Owen Coyle than Brendan Rodgers!

My work Hun said he's in the US scouting. Either that or attending one of those funny hat conventions in the Deep South.

Benitez stays with Newcastle. If he had been brought in earlier I think Newcastle would have survived.

another door closes for Moyes.

He may have gambled on getting a EPL post, but turning down the 2 year , £12m per annum job in China is starting to look a bit careless.

BBC Sport Live Feed is carrying tweets from BBC Newcastle and Ian Dennis who is the Head of Sport for Five Live (I think).

Superb appointment for them, if he is well backed you would fancy them to come back up.

He'll get one about 3 weeks into the season probably.

Think he's right to hold out for a good one, no need to take Newcastle in championship at the moment. Pretty important for his career to have something solid for his next job.

According to Wikipedia, the most high-profile league he's won is the Dutch second division.

The next most high-profile league he's won is the Dutch amateur second division, which is apparently the fourth tier.

Both of these remarkable accomplishments came over a decade ago. And of those 15 years, he's spent 5 of them tending to his garden.

It's hardly a glittering CV.

Don't discount Bosz - he's a very good manager. It's not about 'glittering CVs' it's about if he's the right choice for the club. Looks to be a great fit for Ajax, his teams tend to play excellent football.

More to football than trophies - now he's at a club that might let him add some to his CV.

The point I was making was that he's Dutch, knows Dutch football, has a good background, teams play good fitba as shown by his time at Vitesse, was a full International, etc. It's pretty low risk for them. Didn't lose a game in Israel there either - P17 W 14 D 3 and scored 40.

If he had that background in Finnish fitba I could see the potential problem.

Yeah they should have appointed a manager like us with a long list of domestic and European trophies under his belt!

Sevco may be looking for a new manager soon.

Derek come on down.
He's a stick on for that.

He certainly has all the right attributes. :boik:
Yep, they can't mention Brendan's tan. Or they could, as has already been suggested on here, give it to Dr Chilten.

Edit spelling
