Mourinho has won the EL, the league cup and is currently sitting second in a season where Man City have been extraordinary. Since Ferguson left he's been their most successful manager by a considerable distance.

He'll probably win the league next season or at the latest, the season after. His teams are pig ugly to watch, but he gets results eventually. Getting rid of him would be insane.
Second sitting miles behind City and the title race was over at xmas. 6th last season as well remember.

Yes his won some trophies (A very weak EL I will add) but the transfer outlay has been huge and personally I don't see Utd winning a title or a CL under Mourinho. His safety first style isn't going to get job done anymore. I think players have wised up now as well and are not down for all the Bullshampoo he likes to do. I don't see players ready to do anything for him these days like they used too.

They wont sack him, his just signed a new contract but I don't see it getting much better.
If he loses the dressing room then it's over. I'm not convinced that's happened yet. Man Utd have markedly improved in terms of their consistency since he took over. In another season in which Man City hadn't been so exceptional he'd be challenging for the league.

Not that I particularly care but (final season at Chelsea aside) his record is fantastic.

He won't win the title as long as Pep is at City.

Not sure where the next natural turn is after you’ve relegated a team into and subsequently marooned them in National league south.

PE teacher maybe?

Just read that he's not actually been managing York, he's been their CE for 18 months, seems a bit random.

Like Pat Nevin, he has all the required qualities for a CEO role.

He was brought in as manager at first but his record was terrible. I can only assume that he pumped some money into them and moved upstairs. They got relegated twice in a row and are now trying to get into the play offs int he national league north. They are quite a big club at the lower level and are under performing big time.

Think I might put my papers in for this gig. It's not as if there have been many hard acts to follow.

Yeah, they punted him as manager, then offered him the Chief Executive role.

Bizarre indeed

They said the same thing when Guardiola was at Barca and he was at Real. Didn't work out that way.

In all the excitement, I've managed to miss that waste of DNA Mark McGhee has been binned by whatever shower of bangers that decided he was fit to manage them.

Another perfect example of a person with no discernible ability to manage getting job after job, and getting found out time and again. Hopefully the last we see of that arsehole (as long as he doesn't resume his co-commentary gig)

Thomas Tuchel reported to be taking over at Arsenal next season.
Deschamps back to club management and Wenger to Les Bleues after the WC.
No chance Wenger will France women's team.

I don't think he could get the job for the men's team either. Deschamps has signed already signed a two year extension. The only that can takeover before 2020 is Zidane. As an Arsenal manager, Wenger has also fed up almost everyone at the FFF regarding Arsenal's French internationals. Never say never, but I doubt he.ll be offered the job, despite Arsenal fan boys in French medias. more importantly, I don't want him.
