Birmingham manager Steve Cotterill sacked earlier tonight, 24 games and about 5 months he lasted. This is the team that sacked Gary Rowett when they were in the top 6 and have been on a downward spiral ever since, Rowett has taken Derby County into the top 6 since he was binned by Birmingham :rocker:

I mean, IIFYM, why not? Its a drag eating healthy non-stop and no doubt high end athletes have it worse.
What didn't add up was the way Deila droned on about that type of thing and being a 24 hour athlete etc etc but under his leadership Celtic often looked knackered after 60/70 minutes and/or faded late on in games :ponder:
Not sure what he made of Griffiths eating a Tunnocks Teacake when he was a sub that night at St. Mirren though
Was it no something to do with it being a low carb, high fat diet kinda thing. Your skinny AF, but feeling effed and drained?

I wish him well. One thing I wish he would stop is calling us "Glasgow Celtic".

It does my box in.
Why does that upset you... it’s a name that features in our nigh official club song :ponder:
i love that we get called Glasgow Celtic.

It's the same folk that have a wee greet at the ground being referred to as Parkhead.

AKA miserable bastards.

Our fitness was actually pretty good in his first season. Was after that he got his scandi pals joabs and it all turned to shampoo

Don't see Pardew lasting much longer at WBA, next Huns manager right there.

I think after malmo away it was only going to end one way. With regards diets and training etc if the attitude isn't right it won't matter. Think players decided they didn't like it under deila and that was that.

They couldn’t afford him even if he took a massive cut in his current wages. I suppose there’s always the chance he’s earned enough from his multiple failures to see the huns as a vanity project worth working for buttons for, but I doubt it.

Once he retires, Wenger might well be offered some sort of position in Arsenal. I'm pretty certain that will cause problems. Indeed, it might even put some off applying.

Have to sack him with the run of results.

Wouldn't surprise me if they go for mcinnes when they get relegated.

When abroad I always say Glasgow Celtic whenever asked my team....

Dunno really know why but always think I say it because Glasgow is our city and not the huns.

A few years ago, maybe. But Wenger is now long past the point where he can quietly shuffle upstairs into a director role and seven-figure salary. Arsenal need to get him as far away from that club as possible.

Whenever a 'big' club goes through a bit of shampoo (say Chelsea under Mourinho 2nd time, utd under LVG) you know they are just another appointment and another obscene spend away from putting it at least partly right. The best thing about Arsenal is they won't do that :)

I don’t mind Arsenal. They’re one of the few prudent sides in that set up.

If the bubble burst tomorrow, they’d be one of the few who would survive

Former Kilmarnock boss Lee McCulloch has been appointed assistant manager of Polish top-flight side Lechia Gdansk. Now I haven't much time for the guy but I think that's a brave move on his part to sample other countries' football and gain experience.
Brave for him to take a job handed to him by his old pal. The useless hun wink.
Punted. 7 weeks.
