Walter fecked off when his beloved came calling, and was completely exonerated for it in the media.

McLeish fecked off when Birmingham came calling, but still enjoyed a freebie on the SFA.

eff them both.

Neil Lennon for me. He would be ideal.
Ain't gonna lie, it would sicken me if Lenny went to work for that lot.

Definitely. Lennon would hopefully tell them to go eff themselves. Omnishambles.

Absolute joke if Sir EBT gets the gig. He's not been a manager since he abandoned the huns before they died. Talk about dignity.

And if he does end up as the manager, I hope Celtic players tell the whole Scotland outfit to ram it.

GIVE ME A RISE, SIR WALTER

Chick Young

It shouldn't even be a debate.

Scotland job up for grabs. As vacant as the space between Leigh Griffiths' ears.

Only one man fits the William. And he's available right now.

Sir Walter - surely only a matter of time before he kneels before Her Majesty - is the logical and only choice to fill a gap as wide as the one between Jack Hendry and his fellow defenders against Kilmarnock at the weekend.

If there isn't a call being made to the telephone of integrity as we speak then I'm a St Mirren supporter.

There are named being banded about as freely as a goal against Celtic by Kilmarnock but none can hold a brogue against the man who led Rangers to so many trophies over the years.

Walt does. Others disnae.

Scotland's next game should be in France, if only so the great one can walk across the channel to show today's overpaid upstarts what hard work really is.

But spare me the jaw-jaw about Celtic players not bothering to turn up for the crucial friendlies against Peru and what do you call them. Then again with a name like Kieran Tierney your allegiance is probably more potato than stovie. Another reason for the Waltzing-magician to come in and wield his particular brand of magical magic.

The SFA know what to do. If only for once.

It's a stone-Walter.

Is there a new super white text at play here?

When I saw the BBC headline this morning I despaired
What kind of backward idiotic step would it be.
Enough of giving the same people jobs around and around
Get rid of all the committees and idiots - apparently it took a long time to agree the job description never mind the salary
Then appoint someone experienced but who knows almost nothing about Scottish football - you don’t need to know about history or any such pish, just the available players and the fixture list.

Just had a look on skybet, and these are the odds currently being offered:

Walter Smith
7/4
Scot Gemmill
9/4
Malky Mackay
4/1
Alex McLeish
8/1
Gary Caldwell
9/1
Steve Clarke
10/1
Stuart McCall
10/1

It's embarassing that McLeish and Smith are even being considered, but other than Clarke there is nobody on the list who should be in with a chance.

Might only be a stop-gap appointment since it's a year before the Euro qualifiers. As has been mentioned previously, Smith did a good job when previously in charge of the national team. It wasn't exactly a hun-fest either as he also had TB as one of his backroom staff.
