Just watching MOTD Huddersfield - West Ham.

Whatever happens at West Ham in the longer term pleased to see Moyes with a smile on his face. He's had the shmitty end of the stick for a few years and deserves his chance.

Glad it wasn't with us & still not wholly convinced he is top-level but works hard and getting some reward for it at the moment. The others there - Pearce, Irvine, McKinlay - seem like a decent team. Maybe they'll help keep Moyes a bit more upbeat when he sinks into one of his intense periods

Darren Fergusons comments wow.
What did he say?
Doncaster Rovers boss Darren Ferguson described the standard of refereeing in League One as "appalling" following their draw with Plymouth.

Ferguson claimed a "blatant penalty" was not awarded by referee Andy Haines in the dying seconds of the game.

Asked by BBC Radio Sheffield what he would like the FA to do, the 45-year-old responded "shoot them".

It's a good job he doesn't manage up here. He'd be banned for life.

MON knocks back the Stoke job according to the BBC. Must be on at least their third choice by now after this and the Flores knock back.

Thought MON was a weird choice considering his style and the fact they've tried to bring in flair players.

I think O'Neill would struggle in club football now.

The kind of football he plays wouldn't be attractive.

giggs getting the wales job is hilarious. fair enough he was a man utd coach for ages, but he does not deserve a relatively high profile job at this point.

still, it's wales, so it's funny.

If he said that whilst managing a club in Scotland, there could be only one outcome...

...a six-match ban for Neil Lennon.

Wales spoke to John Hartson about the job.

They clearly don’t give a eff what happens.

Earlier in this his thread we have “Glasgow university graduate” aged 54 getting community service and an electronic tag for saying he’d shoot Lennon and people are laughing at this statement by Ferguson?

I think they were both wrong to say what they said but the punishment for the Sevco fan is too harsh

I am.
I don’t know the specifics of each case but I’m sure each person would say “it was a joke”
A couple of differences, one was pished up and posting to his friends (still not right) and I think he said he’d do it himself.
The other was in a public news conference

Taking anything Sevco/Celtic out of it, what’s the difference?

That is the Welsh way

Mark Hughes hadn't managed a club when he was appointed

Gary Speed had a massive ½ year as Sheff U manager in his bag when he was appointed
