With all the drama at St Johnstone yesterday, I was wondering if Tommy Wright was maybe working his ticket out of there.

McInnes to Sevco, Wright to Aberdeen?
I'd have thought Wright would want to wait and see if Michael O'Neill takes the Scotland job first.

Wonder how the Everton fan who didn't want "the lad with the teeth" or "the fat Spanish waiter" is feeling after getting Big Sam instead
It's better than having either of those two, but not much better. Thanks for asking...
Would you have wanted Silva?
I'd have stuck with Koeman mate, at least until Christmas when we'd have played each team once. I wouldn't want Silva right now as he is unproven in the Premier and now is not the time to gamble. I never thought we'd get relegated, but if our board thought that was realistic then they have got the right man in. He's not my cup of tea but here we are...

Big Sam will steady the ship in the short term without a doubt. I sometimes think clubs are too quick to sack managers these days unless there is a total breakdown. Koeman didn't suddenly become a bad manager.

Definitely expect Aberdeen to go for Jack Ross. They approached him in the summer when they thought the bearded hun was away to Sunderland and St Mirren have continued to do well under him.

Twice last season a Jack Ross team really impressed against us through organisation and hard work. They didn't resort to dirty play depsite being lower league teams. I think Ross would be a very good manager for them.

I agree with you about Koeman. All seemed a bit hasty. In terms of Silva, regardless of the league is has demonstrated that hes a more than capable coach, but as he's only just taken a job at Watford it was the wrong time.

If he was to stay there until the end of next season, when Allardyce's contract ends, Everton could do worse.

Koeman is a poor manager, who lucked his way into a decent setup at Southampton.
