Betting suspended by Ladbrokes on McLeish as next Rangers manager.

When they took that much time you knew it had to be something good, they've certainly not disappointed!
Definitely not. Eck is up there with Billy Davies and now Tony Adams as my preferred candidate.

Wonderful stuff, Sevco....never change

Really don't know how this guy still gets jobs in the English top flight. Would have thought he'd have had to drop a level or two by now, gone the way of Curbishley et al.

Pardew's name came up a few weeks ago chatting to someone who has a passing interest in football. Said the name sounded familiar and that he only really remembered hearing about him after he'd been sacked.

When he was Palace manager I read they had the lowest stats for individual players passing the ball to each other. Not much of a change for WBA in that respect though...

According to the BBC, 'The Peoples Club' are close to agreeing terms with Big Dodgy Sam. There may be fun in the pub this weekend.

Everton have a got desperate. Everton appointing big Sam are only confirming there status as a forever club stuck going nowhere.

WBA have got desperate.

For all the moaning from certain people within football about British managers not given a chance in the premier league you have to ask why do the same names continue to bounce between clubs when you drop outsiders the top 6.

Recently you've had west ham, west brom and Everton all sack managers and it looks like all of them would have appointed a familiar British manager.

The same names get plenty of opportunities and it's something that that black coaches mention. They can't even get in the door for an interview let alone get the job.

The Brighton Manager certainly deserves a move to a bigger club. He comes across very well and has had some success at a number of clubs.

Everton could (and probably will) do worse

Edit: Chris Hughton - name completely escaped me

WBA are probably too good to go down, so he'll likely last the season. Then he'd definitely be a leading contender for the 2018-19 sack race.

Hughton is a good underrated Manager and a decent guy .

Newcastle made yet another big mistake binning him - Chris Hughton had a 60% win rate v Pardew and then McLaren - How did that work out? :ph43r:

The merry go round of mediocrity that gives crap English managers high waged jobs is the very reason not one Englishman has ever managed a Premiership winning side.
