Good Fenian is Tony. Goes to mass & everything - wouldn't be near that shower.
:o

I had him pegged as a Stuart Pearce 'proper English' type.

Just shows you.
He’s Welsh FFS

He was appointed as assistant in July. He's acting in a caretaker capacity only and that is likely all it will be.

From what I'm reading a fair amount of West Brom fans have mentioned Rodgers as their choice, with a mixture of those resigned to the fact it will not happen, amidst others that are pretty delusional thinking he'd jump at the chance.
Funny I suspect alot of fans of these English clubs thought of Rodgers as a joke figure until he became our manager
A fair number of others have got him down as unworthy of being on the list of candidates that includes Pardew and Allardyce, because he's not done anything at the same level as the others.

Absolutely tragic stuff.

Imagine the meltdown at sevco land if WBA took McInnes. Then end up with McLeish or someone on a multi year contract.

"We are in a results business".

Surely the most common phrase used by a chairman after sacking a manager.

Pulis to Wales I would think.

Looking forward to seeing his easy on the eye style transferring over and brightening up international weeks without Celtic.
He'll be in very high demand in a few months time.

He's done very well with limited resources.
He spent an absolute fortune at Stoke which is often overlooked when people bum up his success there.

Did well at Palace to be fair when they looked doomed.

They should really be thanking Dave Jones & Wolves for that stunning collapse

A fair amount of them still do think of him as a joke figure while at the same time believing he must return to England ASAP. Apparently they have this delusion where he has to prove himself to them.

Pulis probably end up Wales manager, but the undead should try and get him in if they have any sense.
He's apparently very fond of Celtic.
Devout Catholic by all accounts.
Could be a stumbling block in his appointment.

The Moch? :ponder:

Would be a strange one, could potentially turn a lot of Sevconians off. If it’s season tickets they want sold, he’s not the man. If it’s to attract players, he’s not the man. If they are pinning all their hopes on Michael O’Halloran, well, maybe, just maybe...

A few of the rags are saying so too. I'd be surprised if he got it considering his last spell in England but you never know. Sevco are mad not going for him straight away.

Michael O'Neill's mother passed away so I'm sure he'll take a while away from the game before he decides where he's going next.

Tommy Wright would be the sensible move to stabilise them without too much outlay.

However the fans are thick as eff and want propelled to the top with squillions of quid. It won't work.

The huns would see tommy wright as beneath them, I'd be surprised if they went for him.

I think he is a better option than mcinnes to be honest.
