Quoting limited to 3 levels deep
Where you hear the rumour?

They'd be in a pretty dire state if he left, the team is already useless but at least the players seemed to like him.

If he goes i'd imagine a whole bunch of that squad will also leave with him.
A good source.

His supposed new club will be playing a lot of derby matches next year.
A club in London? Back to city trading as a hobby that will become a job in the near future again for him.

It probably makes perfect sense for Warburton to leave before the next season starts.

No European football after the SC defeat and the likelihood of finishing below Celtic would mean his stock would probably fall after another 12 months in charge.

I'm a bit mystified by the idea that European football was going to be a "game-changer" for Sevco. How many qualifying rounds could the current squad possibly survive, even if they had Joey "Gazza Lite" Barton carrying their midfield? No chance they'd get anywhere near the EL group stages, none whatsoever--they are absolutely shocking. (And yes, I know exactly how bad that makes the Deila-led Celtic side who lost to them at Hampden.)

As for the SPL--finishing below Celtic? That was always a given, and not just for the Hüns debut season in the top flight. I think the Warbmeister has been having visions of finishing below Kilmarnock. He'll have been doing cartwheels on Saturday night, because now he can make it look like he was forced out of Scottish football "Rangers haters." If it looked like he was just leaving Sevco for a better team/better salary, the Sons of Strewth and their ilk would have had only one person to blame for their SPL humiliation. Now they can blame every other football team in Scotland, and keep their persecution complex on overdrive.

Moyes not going to Villa. He interviewed for it on Thursday but has since told them he doesn't want to be considered.

He's on £6k per week. Wants £12k. Not very happy about their signing talks with Jason Cummings and Aldo Houldswourth behind his back either.

I heard there were two offers from The Championship down south. Villa was one club that wanted him, although that's now changed with the Chinese takeover. Looks like the other is Derby, if Remy is correct.

Although Joey Barton has now agreed to sign for them, so that could maybe change things. eff knows.

I think Barton will be a decent player for them, but he's not particularly mobile or much of a game changer either.

If Warbiola is unhappy now then it's only going to get worse when half his team are sold to cover a 34 year old's wages.

I wonder what Moyes is up to.. Not abroad I wouldn't think and it looks like he won't consider a Championship club either. I doubt Everton want him back so I wonder what he's hoping for.

Has it been confirmed he is going to them?

I know he has dropped a few hints on Twitter, but still think he is just trying to force Burnley's hand.

Sevco may be looking for a new manager soon.

Derek come on down.
Shame. I'd have liked him to stay and for him to get the doing from Celtic his crap team and stupid tactics deserved.

Cannot stand the guy or his daily warblings but, having seen Hibs tear them a new one, hope he stays as I think everyone in the Premiership could make them suffer next season. Next season could be hilarious, Dick Barton or no Dick Barton.

He'll leave, we'll pump them 3 or 4 times next season, and the huns will say if he stayed then they'd have won. Almost guaranteed. Bookmark this and come back to it at the end of the season. Telling you.

Mirror says he's on Everton's list. Presumably a fall-back if more glamorous options (e.g. the Sevilla manager) don't come in for them.

Why would anyone GAF? :ponder: That's like us claiming we'd have won the league in 2005 if Larsson had stayed. It actually just rubs it in more, as the reality is we lost. It would actually make it sorer for them that they might have won / done better but they couldn't hold on to their manager because their club is in a terrible state. Why this would be painted as some sort of victory is mind boggling.

:ponder: Why would that be?

EDIT: He might be tempted to stay if the huns pull in a few more names like Barton - how they would achieve this I have no idea.
