Guy that owns my work is friends with Michael o Neill, told me he's been offered the USA job and the Scotland job. I've mentioned on here before that it's the same guy who told me the investors were lining the streets to put money in to Sevco once the Ashley deal was ripped up. So more than a pinch of salt taken with these comments
tbf heard that usa were interested in him also.
fwiw he is on crap money managing NI so a bumper pay increase might suit him with Scotland .
Him and Strachan were both on £500,000 a year. If O’Neill accepts Scotland job he’ll no doubt get more money but not a lot more

A couple of papers were saying the SFA were going to offer double, or close to double his current wage which is 500k.

The Sun has Tim Sherwood, Gus Poyet and Henning Berg all in the running for the rangers job.

They also have Tommy Wright replacing Michael O'Neil.
Henning Berg is used to fielding ineligible players.

Too old for hamlet, too young for Lear

I’ve had a feeling for a while they’ll gone for someone whose managed in the EPL - to try and kid themselves on that they’re getting “another Brendan Rodgers” so Sherwood would make a lot of sense. Alan Pardew is another one I think could be a shout - objectionable Little Englander twat who would lap up the WATP/Butchers Apron pish.

Neither would worry me

Ally McCoist just walked past me in London City Airport.

Chatted for a minutes and he said he is a candidate for Sunderland.

I asked if I should have a tenner on him, he said a fiver.

Sounds like the opposite of what Minty used to preach.

Maybe they are learning after all?

Was told money wise looking at 500k from Scotland or Sevco, also said did not have an interest in Sevco or Sunderland job but USA appeals to him along with the 2.5m salary that goes with that but uprooting his family at this time could be an issue

Please make Tim Sherwood get the Huns job. He’s one of the worst managers in football, I’d laugh for days.

His record was about 50/50 and he could start a row in an empty room. The players hated him.

I'd rather he uprooted his family than a tree when he's drink driving.

Honestly if the USA on the table for O'Neill he'd be mad to turn it down. There's a decent talent base, a relatively simple qualification route (although they bollixed it up this time around) and the wages are better than pretty much anything he'd get here.

Yep, and he could carry on the feck he liked as long as he kept his car out of peoples' houses ((c) Garioch)
